Ever wonder why so many people kill themselves at this time of year (No, don’t worry).
One problem is that we need a funner and happier holiday in January. I mean, MLK day? Really?

In the New Year (Year 7 of the One) I’ve been looking at the bills…
New Year, new rates for Gas (25% increase) and Electric (41% increase).
New Year, new property tax at $200 increase per quarter.
And continuing and going much higher, for the New Year, my mandated Obamacare bill is $200 per month higher (Of course, now I’m covered for Obstetrics and Child Care. Confusing since I’m male and widowed.)
Based on past energy usage plus the new official and unofficial taxes it’s going to cost me an extra $4000 this year. Which is the fifth year since my lay-off. No problem, as long as I die by age 70 I’m good. Unless I’d like to buy a new car, go to a restaurant, etc.
I really hate this piece of shit. Who am I talking about? Guess.
Police Lives Matter
Yesterday morning, Trooper Robert McCarthy found this inscribed on his cruiser, parked in his driveway. He doesn’t know who did it, but when asked if he would begin an investigation to find out, he stated they will get a “pass on this one.”
The Massachusetts State Police would like to thank all of our supporters, and continue to express that ALL lives matter.

These are the idiots responsible for blocking the I93 into Boston for ridiculous reasons. (I don’t believe for a second that any of them would have invited either of the two Negro thugs into their own homes for any reason, while they lived.)
Here’s the 29 people, according to authorities, who were arrested in connection with two protests that shut down Interstate 93:
• Nicole Sullivan, 24, of Somerville
• Nelli Routsalainen, 25, of Roxbury (update: a Finnish native living in Roxbury who worked part-time for the Boston Centers for Youth and Families. Fired from her City job by Mayor Walsh)
• James Billman, 25, of Brookline
• Brett W. West, 26, of Boston
• Jeremy Bingham, 23, of Arlington
• Mark F. Schwaller, 29, of Jamaica Plain
• Noah McKenna, 28, of Boston (update: CBS news; The only arrested demonstrator who agreed to talk briefly was Occupy Boston veteran Noah McKenna, who lives at his dad’s home in Jamaica Plain. )
• Angela N. Davis, 43, of Somerville
• Eli Cohen, 26, of Somerville
• Emily Osmun, 34, of Somerville
• William Connolly, 26, of Hanson
• Ana Castellanos, 27, of Cambridge
• Jackson Chan, 22, of Boston
• Sabrina Jamal Ghaus, 22, of Dorchester
• Nancy Griffin, 47, of Brighton
• Johannes Huessy, 33, of Roxbury
• Kendra Jae, 25, of Boston
• Mallory Kaczarek, 29, of Roxbury
• Jaquelyn Lemus, 24, of Boston
• Jessica Hallada Lowell, 29, of Arlington
• Diana Mai, 25, of Allston
• Monica Majewski, 25, of Dorchester
• Andrew Robert Murray, 26, of Byfield
• Thu Minh Nguyen, 23, of Jamaica Plain
• Katharine K. Seitz of Roxbury
• Kathryn Martin Selcraig, 22, of Somerville
• David Voutour, 30, of Somerville
• Ian Trefethen, 33, of Hyde Park
• Benjamin S. Woods, 31, of Jamaica Plain
Two of them are in their forties! That’s a long time to be stupid.
BOSTON — Activists protesting what they call “police and state violence against black people” chained themselves to concrete-filled barrels and blocked a busy Boston-area highway at the height of the Thursday morning commute.
State police shut down northbound Interstate 93 south of the city, and I-93 south, in Medford, north of the city, at about 7:30 a.m., inconveniencing thousands of drivers and causing miles-long backups.
…The protest was intended “to confront white complacency in the systemic oppression of black people in Boston” the Boston contingent of Black Lives Matter said in a statement.
The patient in the ambulance had just been in a serious car crash, Partridge said.
“The gentleman had just been in a car accident and had to be extricated from the vehicle. Obviously, if they were going to the (Boston Medical Center), they must have had some significant injuries,” Partridge said. “They were heading to Boston Medical Center and when they were notified that the highway was shut down they were diverted to Good Samaritan (in Brockton).”
I live ten miles south of the southern highway blockage, the roadway was blocked solid that far and probably another ten miles further south (to Marshfield if you know the area). It was blocked all morning.
There are no photos of the protesters or the area that do not show State Police already on hand. Obviously the protesters called the Staties in beforehand. For the excellent reason that they didn’t want to be without protection from those “common” people whose lives they were interfering with. Particularly the truckers, who always have a baseball bat behind the seat.
Same thing with the “Occupy” scum squatting on the public sidewalks and parkland in Boston. Defecating in the open, destroying the new plants and trees and in the end leaving a mountain of trash for someone else to clean up and the taxpayers to pay for. I was finishing up my career in Boston and had to walk pass that mess from the subway and I wasn’t the only working man greatly outraged by the sight and probably the only thing that prevented me from kicking some hippy ass were the massive police presence. While the police weren’t doing a thing to prevent the trespassing and destruction, they were there to protect the protest from an massive ass-kicking.
Seriously. If the NYPD can turn their backs on Mayor Deblasio, couldn’t the Mass State Police turn their backs on Snowflake here? Just for five minutes?
Update: Howie Carr in the Herald today;
Hey, celebrate diversity. This is a crew that had a banner on the bridge that said, “Stop White Supremacy.” But in their absolutely deranged press release these narcissistic loafers admitted to being a “diverse non-Black group of Pan-Asian, Latinos, and white people, some of whom are queer and transgender.”
I always figured you could be either gay or transgender, but not both. As for this “Pan-Asian” designation — surely these squirrely wannabe folk singers meant to say, “Pot Asian.” Because it’s pretty clear where they’d come down on the weed issue.
This is their hashtag: “#SpoiledLittleSuburbanPajamaBoysLivesMatter.”

I especially liked this quote from the print story:
“No — that kid was never going to outrun me,” Shoemaker added. “Marines run towards the sound of chaos.”
Semper Fi, men. And good job, kid. What a criminal mastermind

Remember my article yesterday about John Boehner’s “nuclear option”? Well, it seems he’s a little smarter than I thought. Today Boehner was elected to another term as House Speaker with Democrat votes, and none of them were recorded. All hail the new Democrat Speaker of the House!
Conservatives in the House had mounted a challenge to the Speaker’s re-election, and were successful in getting the 29 votes they needed to block Boehner’s next term, but suddenly that wasn’t enough.
Although Boehner never openly courted Democrat votes, enough Democrats failed to show up for the opening of the 114th Congress to ensure Boehner’s victory despite the 29 votes against him. Wasn’t that convenient?Never-the-less, John Boehner will now go down in history as the first Speaker of the House elected by the opposing party. The marriage of the Republican and Democrat parties has been consummated, and it looks as though Republicans were the ones on the receiving end.
Why would Democrats go along with Boehner on this? Why wouldn’t they? Boehner is the best friend Obama has in the House GOP, and Democrats wanted to make sure the Obama/Boehner agenda wasn’t derailed by the election of a principled Conservative to serve as Speaker. No one had to go on record as voting for Boehner, but their absence from the chamber said everything Boehner needed to have said. Every single Democrat absence was a vote for John Boehner.
The vote has been made, and the results are in; Obama will have his way for the next two years and there is little we can do about it until 2016. Make a note of the names that cast votes for Boehner, and vote accordingly. My GOP Congressman voted for Boehner and has heard from me in no uncertain terms. The question we all have to ask ourselves now is – Are you a Republican, or a Conservative? You cannot be both. For me the answer is obvious.
I’ve been saying, and saying, and saying; the police are (most of the time) not there to stop the scum from bothering or even hurting the honest citizen, but to PROTECT the scum from the often outraged and pissed-off honest citizen.
The anti-police protestors block Hollywood and Vine in LA…and
An outraged citizen on and about his business or life decides to drive right through them…then
The idiots (who are protesting and are anti-LEO, remember?) call 911…who
Are delayed in arriving by the traffic problems caused by the street blockage…What do you think the protestors do?
They complain that the reason the police don’t show up quickly to (protect) help them are that the police are …wait for it
RACIST!!!
