My mother was allowed to bring her gun to school while growing up. Children were taught gun safety in schools. There were no such thing as school shootings back then. Between In 1962 & 1963 Liberals removed the Bible, Prayer & God from our public schools.

One name related to the Florida school shooting that you are not going to heard is Aaron Feis.
Though trained and willing, he was disarmed by Federal Law.
It is logical to believe that Feis was in the parking lot ready to direct traffic as school was about to let out. As it has been reported that Feis died while shielding multiple students and only one victim was shot on the second floor, we can infer that Feis engaged the shooter on the first floor sometime soon after the shooting began. Aaron Feis likely was in the right place at the right time to save lives.
So why was Aaron Feis disarmed?
One reason is that the “Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990,” originally passed as part of the Budget Control Act of 1990, bars school personnel from arming themselves. 18 USC § 922(q)(2)(A) … a bill sponsored by Senator Joe Biden.
Based on Coach May’s testimonial, Mr. Feis willingly charged into the fray knowing that he would face powerful gunfire and that he was disarmed.

President Trump unveiled a budget Monday that seeks $3 trillion in cuts over the next decade.
What a difference a week makes.
The president signed a bill authorizing increases in domestic spending to secure larger increases in defense spending last week. This followed a State of the Union address petitioning Congress for various spending hikes, including $200 billion in federal funds for a $1.5 trillion infrastructure plan. This week, he targets 12 departments for cuts.
The Departments of Agriculture (-16 percent), Commerce (-6 percent), Education (-10.5 percent), Energy (-3 percent), Health and Human Services (-21 percent), Housing and Urban Development (-18.3 percent), Interior (-16 percent), Justice (-1.2 percent), Labor (-21 percent), State (-26 percent), Transportation (-19 percent), and Treasury (-3 percent) all endure cuts. Defense (+13 percent), Homeland Security (+8 percent), and Veterans Affairs (+11.3 percent) receive increases under the plan.

NPR Is Seeking a Science Editor. Science Education Not Required.
The only substantive qualification in the ad is “broad and deep experience reporting and editing stories on health, medicine and science.” But that’s so vague, it could mean nearly anything. Whoever wrote “13 Amazing Sex Tips From Around The World” for Cosmopolitan would probably be qualified.
Journalists and editors pay lip service to the notion that society needs better science communication, but their actions prove they don’t mean it. Why hire a Ph.D. or a person with a bachelor’s degree in science when it’s cheaper and easier to hire a social media intern who has spent the last few years copying-and-pasting press releases about scary toxins and miracle vegetables?
If you’ve ever wondered why science journalism is so incredibly bad, this is why. (It’s also one reason why we ranked NPR’s science coverage rather poorly.) But it’s not just NPR. It’s almost all of journalism.
Remember, if you aren’t aware of it, Bill Nye is NOT a scientist. His degree is a bachelor’s in engineering. But he’s a lefty and that’s all that counts.
So when the network created his show (with a definite ideological bent), no scientists need apply.

Report: John Kerry Contacted Palestinians, Ordered Them To Not Work With Trump
Former Secretary of State and presidential candidate John Kerry is allegedly working hard to insult the Trump administration to Palestinian leaders, according to a recent report from Hebrew Daily in Israel.
Maariv, a local Israeli outlet, reported that Kerry has been using an intermediary named Hussein Agha to relay derisive, anti-Trump messages to the leaders of the Palestinian authority. According to The Jerusalem Post, Kerry asked the Palestinians to “not yield” to Trump’s demands and to “hold on and be strong” in the wake of Trump’s pro-Israel moves in the region. Maariv based their report on an anonymous account from a “senior Palestinian authority official.”
Kerry also hinted that he may run for president in 2020 against Trump, saying he was not much older than Trump.
To a lot of Americans, the stories and the suggestions that a “Deep State” is attempting to run a ‘shadow’ government preventing or undoing all the actions of the legally elected administration of Donald Trump is absurd.
Kerry asked Agha to convey a message to Abbas and ask him to “hold on and be strong.” Tell him, he told Agha, “that he should stay strong in his spirit and play for time, that he will not break and will not yield to President Trump’s demands.” According to Kerry, Trump will not remain in office for a long time. It was reported that within a year there was a good chance that Trump would not be in the White House.
