Gerard died peacefully in the small hours of the morning.

Forty years toiled in the Tel-com industry, married for 36 years widowed at sixty-one. Ten years in a relationship with a woman until her death. Was a Tea Party supporter. Today a follower of the Last American President to be honestly elected, Donald J. Trump. Recently had Ancestry.com tell me I'm Swedish, not Danish. I may need to change my avatar.

    Gerard sent me his phone number once, for some reason I never called.
    In awe probably. I wish I had visited him at least once.
    Maybe someday we will meet.

    A daily visit.
    He had a unique perspective and an eye for the beauty of nature, as evidenced in his photography.
    As was said about Walt Disney, his like will not be seen again.
