Hadn’t intended to post anything on this topic here, but the agressive anti-spam software at Theo’s branded me a robot and refused my comment…
There were bold, and improvident words out there today, screaming “Impeachment!”, among other things. Prior to Black Tuesday I felt the same…
There will be no impeachment, that’s the other consequence of the election.
There are barely enough votes in the house and not even a majority of votes in the Senate.
Don’t be a fool, this crime will go unpunished. The Conservatives in Congress should not waste their time or political capital in vain. That Barry is guilty there can be no doubt, but nobody cares. If you attack him and try to impeach him you will fail and that failure will make him stronger yet. It can only help him by providing a smokescreen for his media dogs to throw over everything he’s going to do now that he has post-election flexibility.
We lost not only this election, we lost the Republic. We have failed all those who came before us. Continue reading
Others have said what is in my heart..
I’m off to vote early tomorrow and then I’m done for a while.
I have no plans to listen to the election coverage tomorrow night, I’m going out and buying a bottle of good Bourbon locking myself in the upstairs room and watching movies. There may be pizza.
Wednesday I’m either kayaking (which I have done very little of lately) or going off somewhere and taking photos.
Mitt, break a leg.
Barry, break your fucking neck.
In that vein…
The duel between “progressivism” — which is really just anti-Constitutionalism — and patriotic loyalty to the Republic as founded has been going on for a century. And the record of the “progressives” has been a disgrace, from Woodrow Wilson’s resegregation of the military, through FDR’s corrupt bargain with gangland that helped him secure the Democratic nomination in 1932 over Al Smith, through DNC member Bull Connor’s fire-hosing of civil-rights marchers. A political philosophy that masquerades as compassion and the alleviation of misery instead results in its prolongation, the better to create a permanent underclass of dependent voters (Tammany Hall developed the template more than a century ago), and the modern GOP establishment has signally failed to point that out.
…The definition of victory in war is not a 50.1 percent majority that allows the other side to keep fighting — it’s the battleship Missouri, on whose deck the losing side signs articles of capitulation. The modern Left — the unholy spawn of ’30s gangland and ’60s academic Marxism — must be forced to its knees in surrender. There’s a honored place in our political system for a leftist party, one that pushes for improvement in areas that need improving, but not one devoted to revolutionary “fundamental change.” A vote for Romney tomorrow is a vote against the socialist elements that seized control of the JFK/Scoop Jackson Democratic party in 1972, and has worked against America’s best interests ever since. A vote for Romney tomorrow is a vote for a restoration of the old Jacksonian — Andrew, that is — Democratic party, a true populist party shorn of its Communist accretions that is every bit as all-American as the other guys…
It’s up to the electorate tomorrow to show them that the dream is really a nightmare, from which it’s time to awake, that the cause of America always endures, and the work of restoring our founding principles begins anew today.
Both Obama and the Mainstream Media is being judged tomorrow, if the bias, the lies and the willingness to believe by the national media can fail to re-elect their own biggest creation then Barry won’t be the only one losing his job…
By tomorrow night we’ll likely know the name of the next president. But we already know the loser in this election cycle: political reporters. They’ve disgraced themselves. Conservatives have long complained about liberal bias in the media, and with some justification. But it has finally reached the tipping point. Not in our lifetimes have so many in the press dropped the pretense of objectivity in order to help a political candidate. The media are rooting for Barack Obama. They’re not hiding it.
We could go on. The point is that many in the press are every bit as corrupt as conservatives have accused them of being. The good news is, it’s almost over. The broadcast networks, the big daily newspapers, the newsweeklies — they’re done. It’s only a matter of time, and everyone who works there knows it. That may be why so many of them seem tapped out, lazy and enervated, unwilling to stray from the same tired story lines. Some days they seem engaged only on Twitter, where they spend hours preening for one another and sneering at outsiders.
By the next presidential cycle most of these people will be gone. They’ll have moved on to academia or think tanks or Democratic senate campaigns, or wherever aging hacks go when their union contracts finally, inevitably get voided. They’ll be replaced by a vibrant digital marketplace filled with hungry young reporters who care more about breaking stories than maintaining access to some politician or regulator…

An amusing Tea Party billboard features President Obama saying “Things Could Be Worse. Re-Elect Me And I’ll Prove It!”
Well, it would be more amusing if it weren’t so obviously true. By any reasonable measure, Obama’s is a failed presidency. The stimulus failed to stimulate, with unemployment remaining vastly higher than administration economists predicted — even without the stimulus, much less with it. (An awful lot of the stimulus money also seemed to wind up in the hands of Obama cronies and contributors, too.)…
When elected, Obama was inexperienced: Most of his career in government was in the Illinois State Senate, with only a couple of years experience in the U.S. Senate, most of which he spent running for president. He had no private-sector experience, no executive experience (beyond the Harvard Law Review) and little knowledge of the United States beyond the major metropolitan areas of New York, Boston and Chicago. It would have been a miracle if he had turned out to be competent…
All that has been said, all that I’ve posted in the last two years will be for naught if this empty chair is re-elected and he could be. I’m very much afraid that he is very likely to be. After all, the media dogs have mostly been successful in concealing Benghazi from the American People. The two billion dollar barrage of lies has numbed, confused and misdirected the electorate about his record of waste and cronyism.
The truth is the margin of victory has to be much higher for Mitt Romney than it does for Barry Soetoe, if the Democratic Machine can get a total tool like Al Franken elected after losing by 5 % , than in a election with all the chips on the table, the election tomorrow is closer and more at risk than that.
If you see something, say something…

What comes after if that happens? ____________if we still have the courage to refuse to be enslaved. Because if this Tyrant is given another four years, than all our freedoms (Supreme Court appointments, remember?) will be gone.
This election is only close because our own money (real and imagined) was used to buy the votes of nearly half the electorate. The only thing that trumps gold, is ____.
One sunny day in January, 2013, an old man approached the White House from across Pennsylvania Avenue where he’d been sitting on a park bench.
The Marine looked at the man and said, “Sir, Mr. Obama is no longer President and no longer resides here.”The old man said, “Okay,” and walked away. The following day the same man approached the White House and said to the same Marine, “I would like to go in and meet with President Obama.”
The Marine again told the man, “Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr. Obama is no longer President and no longer resides here.”
The man thanked him and again just walked away. The third day the same man approached the White House and spoke to the very same US Marine, saying, “I would like to go in and meet with President Obama.
“The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the man and said, “Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Obama. I’ve told you already that Mr. Obama is no longer the President and no longer resides here. Don’t you understand?”
The old man looked at the Marine and said, “Oh, I understand. I just love hearing it.” The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said,
“See you tomorrow, Sir.
Don’t forget to vote That old man is depending on you!!!
Operative Faith reveals that Kroger will soon join the ranks of Darden Restaurants and slash the hours of its non-exempt (hourly) workers to avoid millions in Obamacare penalties.
To give you a sense of Kroger’s size and importance, its sales last year were $90 billion and it employs nearly 350,000 people. Most of its jobs are hourly and the vast majority of workers are neither millionaires or billionaires.
Faith is a mid-level manager at Kroger and reports the dire news:
Last week we found out that, beginning in January, any employee who is not full-time at that point, will be limited to 28 hours per week and all new hires will be subject to the same policy.
Currently, part-time employees can work as many hours as needed.
Many Kroger employees, I believe, will be shocked to find out about this new policy.
What this means is that Obamacare will stop tens of thousands of Kroger employees — most of whom depend on and need the money — from working more than 28 hours!
Kroger is doing this to avoid paying for full-time healthcare for employees who currently only receive part-time benefits. And they will not get hit with the $3000 penalty.
My own area is a good example. I work with four people who currently get about 36 to 40 hours a week, but they are considered part-time by Kroger and receive limited benefits. Now, they will either have to find another part-time job or they will quit and find a full-time job.
Doug, you need to get this out before Tuesday. People need to understand.
Also, you need to send this to Drudge. This needs to go national.
Marxism might make the rich poorer, but it makes the poor poorer as well.
Centralized, authoritarian command-and-control governments always fail. Always.
Hard-working employees of Kroger and Darden are among the thousands of casualties of Obamacare. And these hourly workers are far from being members of the evil “1%”.
And this is only the beginning.
Vote accordingly in November. Repeal Obamacare.
