German New Year’s Eve assaults, what wasn’t reported.

“There were, quite to the contrary of what was said publicly, identity checks on numerous people,” the WamS quoted an unnamed officer as saying. “Most of them were recently-arrived asylum seekers.”

The first internal police report on the event – a so-called “wichtige Ereignis Meldung” (“important event announcement”) – spoke of a crowd mainly of “North African and Arab” origin. According to the Kölner Stadt-anzeiger, the officer leading the team at the station wanted the report to include mention of the Syrians and asylum seekers, but the senior officer writing the “WE-Meldung” decided not to, saying it would be “politically awkward.”

Offenders were after ‘sexual amusement’

WamS also received information contradicting another official statement by the city police, which said the main intention of the men in Cologne was to steal from passengers and that assault was secondary. However, “what actually happened was the exact opposite,” a police officer said on condition of anonymity.

“For the mostly Arabic offenders, sexual assault was the priority, or, to express it from their point of view, their sexual amusement was thepriority. A group of men would encircle a female victim, close the loop, and then start groping the woman,” WamS quoted the officer as saying.

I don’t understand why this didn’t quickly escalate into a two-way riot.  Other than the now familiar pattern of the police concentrating on protecting the miscreants from their victims and their husbands and boyfriends.

The ground is being prepared for the next Adolf Hitler.

Finnish police reported Thursday an unusually high level of sexual harassment in Helsinki on New Year’s Eve and said they had been tipped off about plans by groups of asylum seekers to sexually harass women.

Helsinki deputy police chief Ilkka Koskimaki told AFP: “There hasn’t been this kind of harassment on previous New Year’s Eves or other occasions for that matter… This is a completely new phenomenon in Helsinki.”

Security guards hired to patrol the city on New Year’s Eve told police there had been “widespread sexual harassment” at a central square where around 20,000 people had gathered for celebrations.

Let me explain the ‘Inquisition’.

German mayor condemns New Year sex assaults as ‘intolerable’

And yet they tolerate it.  The Spanish Inquisition was a necessary tool to ensure that all traces of the Muslims in Spain were removed.  Because you can’t have any of those people in your society and not have the problems that Europe is having today.   And it will only get worse.

The mayor of Cologne condemned a series of sexual assaults in the western German city on New Year’s Eve, calling Tuesday for the perpetrators to be “prosecuted in the toughest possible way.”

Henriette Reker spoke after holding a crisis meeting with city and police officials to discuss the assaults.

Police say dozens of women reported being sexually assaulted and robbed around Cologne’s main train station, next to the city’s famous cathedral, during the night from Thursday to Friday. At least 90 criminal complaints have been filed, including one allegation of rape.

“The actions of the perpetrators were completely intolerable, and so we expect them to be prosecuted in the toughest possible way,” Reker said.

According to police, witnesses described the assaults as being committed by men of “Arab or North African origin” who had gathered in large numbers near the train station.

Separately, police in the northern city of Hamburg appealed for witnesses who observed similar sexual assaults and thefts in the St. Pauli district on New Year’s night.

The German Green Party is still defending the ‘refuges’ and blocking efforts to expel them.

Cologne’s mayor said her city would step up measures to prevent similar attacks during the annual carnival festivities next month.

“We will also have to explain our carnival better to people from other cultures, so that there’s no confusion about the cheerful behavior in Cologne that has nothing to do with candor, especially candid sexuality,” Reker said.

Exactly why does Cologne need to ‘explain’ their carnival to strangers, guests?  If a guest can’t behave then you ask them to leave.   The next step:  The ‘New Inquisition’.   (applications are available by the door).

Oh! One last thought.  When the population of Germany last used to be roughly the same percentage of Jews, the most common ‘outrages’ of that minority were; selling or mending clothes and footwear,  drilling teeth (but in a nice way),  setting bones and prescribing medicine,  medical and physics research… etc.

Witnesses tell the Daily News that the victim died after heroically shoving a woman out of harm’s way.

Manuel Coronado tells the newspaper that Hewett-Brown “said `Happy New Year’ and pushed her out.”

what is a heroRobert Heinlein had a story that he told a few times in print, in both fiction and nonfiction.

A man and woman were walking through a park when the woman got her foot caught in a railway switch.  The husband could not work her foot free, so another man, usually described as a hobo or a tramp but in any case a complete stranger, stopped to help. The train got closer; the woman remained stuck; the men continued their attempts… until all three were hit and killed.

Heinlein’s point was that the actions of the tramp represent the highest form of heroism: he owed the woman nothing and absolutely no one would have faulted him for jumping clear, but he stayed in place until and beyond the final moment, trying to save a complete stranger’s life with utter disregard for his own.

We should pause and reflect when we see that a hero has revealed themselves; reflect, say a prayer for their soul and remember.
