Green New Dealers now coming after NYC pizza’s coal-fired ovens: Enough already!
Look, we get that Green New Dealers hate the finer things in life: gas stoves, steak and air conditioners that actually, you know, cool down your house.
So it’s no shock they’d come for pizza eventually. (Bagels are surely next.)
But this is one issue where New Yorkers left, right and center, of every age, race, creed and gender, should rise as one and shout Va al diavolo.
New York Leftists finally get their favorite Ox gored.
On the North River 
The goal is to ban everything. Every time they succeed in getting one thing banned they then move on to another. They have absolutely no intention on stopping. Ever.

Does seem that way. At least for those pleasures and activity of the middle class. They also carve out exceptions for the high-end restaurants the wealthy like to go to.

Every day we edge closer and closer to a communist society. In Communist theory, the final stage of human development would mark the end of class struggle and, therefore, of history: All people would live in social equilibrium without class distinctions, family structures, religion, or property. The state, too, would “wither away.”
