In computing, an avatar (usually translated from Sanskrit as incarnation) is the graphical representation of the user or the user’s alter ego or character.

Barry’s latest front man.  Kaci Hickox, the nurse who insists she is Ebola-free after assisting in the treatment of Ebola patients in West Africa.

How does she “Know” she is Ebola-freee?  I’m sure the nurses in Dallas thought they would not get the disease, they wore protective suits and unlike Ms. Hickox when they left the hospital they were not exposed to an environment of potential exposure.  The taxis the Dallas nurses took weren’t used by other people who were potentially exposed to Ebola, the restaurants didn’t have customers and waitresses with family members exposed to Ebola.  In West Africa, every seat and every surface outside the hospital or clinic she worked at could have been exposed to Ebola.  How does she know she is free of Ebola?

There is no test at this time that can rule out actual exposure, if her blood hasn’t yet shown known Ebola antibodies that does not mean that she is actually free of infection.  Yet.   There is no vaccine, there is no proven cure.  There is hope but we need time and Ms. Hickox is chipping away at that time by her irresponsible behavior.  I tried to find a figure for the price tag (to date) for tracking down all the possibly exposed people in the Duncan case, best answer is “God Knows”.

Ms. Hickox isn’t just an Obama supporter, she is Obama.  The rules don’t apply to her, the rules and the Constitution don’t constrain him.

On another front, Pajama Boy, a metrosexual hipster in a plaid onesie who wants you to spend your precious Christmas days talking to him about the president’s vision for health insurance.Not one sentient being in the Universe could ever envision an American President allowing as pathetic an image as this to get linked to his policies or his name.  (notice his name in the web address, uh huh!)

John F. Kennedy had a killer line in his, “Ask not what your country can do for you …“,  Barack Obama has, “Wear pajamas“.    Word,    Word!
