Censorship.

Malinformation: Censors’ excuse to suppress ‘inconvenient truths’

Last month, I noted that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had repeatedly exaggerated the scientific evidence supporting face mask mandates during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Facebook attached a warning to that column, which it said was “missing context” and “could mislead people.”

According to an alliance of social media platforms, government-funded organizations and federal officials that journalist Michael Shellenberger calls the “censorship-industrial complex,” I had committed the offense of “malinformation.”

Unlike “disinformation,” which is intentionally misleading, or “misinformation,” which is erroneous, “malinformation” is true but inconvenient.

Disqus is a commenting platform based in San Francisco and used by many Blogs and News sites, even conservative ones.

On one conservative site I commented and illustrated the point with a image of a series of tweets made by a Democrat currently running for DA in San Francisco. The information was true and cast the Democrat in a bad light.  (Also posted here…)

It was an ‘Inconvenient Truth’.

Within seconds and before the comment was published, the post was blocked on Disqus. The digital signature of the image was detected and any post that had it was going to be blocked. By Disqus, run by progressives and based in San Francisco.

And that is censorship. As much as the millions of voters prevented from seeing any of the damaging information on Hunter Biden before and during the 2020 election.

BTW  I joined Scott Adams new pay site and he’s a busy boy, I get five or six notifications of new content a day.

This one seems apropos…

Interesting response considering the source.

Crime in San Francisco.

@snehalantani

A teammate visiting San Francisco for an offsite called me frantically last night. After dinner at Fisherman’s Wharf they came back to a smashed car window and 2 stolen backpacks. $10K in gear lost, passports gone, etc. #SanFrancisco

The man running for DA in SF and former Police Commissioner responded.

Not Frank Reagan.  Odd response for a guy running for public office in a city that is seeing a mass exodus of big corporations from San Francisco due to the high taxes, high cost of living and out of control crime.

Especially directed at a tech entrepreneur who might be bringing billions in international and US Federal contracts to your city.

The tone of the message here was that this dickhead is proud of the crime in the city.  It’s a badge of honor.

Update on RMV.

Got to the Passport office, they let me know that there is nothing wrong with my passports electronic chip and that they are well aware of the problem.

The State of Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles computers are what’s FU, they informed them about it but they ain’t interested in doing anything about it.

Can’t say I’m surprised.

RMV

So Thursday was my appointment with Triple A for my license renewal in Massachusetts.
My license expires on Sunday and I’ve been waiting for two weeks for the appointment.

This appointment thing is something that the RMV started during the Shamdemic and now (Surprise!) it’s been made permanent.  No more picking a date during the month of your birthday and heading over to the RMV office and getting in line with everyone else.  Often you’d arrive and check out the lines and think, ” Think I’ll try again on Monday”.

A little surprised to notice while I waited that of the four people in front of me, three apparently were denied renewal. Now in Massachusetts as in the rest of the country, Real ID is being rolled in by Federal Decree. So after over sixty years a licensed driver it’s not a simple renewal any more. But WTF?

I overheard enough of one conversation to understand the woman’s problem was that her legal documentation didn’t match her married name, i.e. her birth certificate.  This suggests that women should bring their marriage license with them to explain the name discrepancy.   No, the form that the RMV sends you on the month before your birthday will not warn you about this.

When my turn came I handed over all my documents, including what I thought was the Gold Standard; my US Passport.
So after a moment the lady asked me if I had my birth certificate with me.
“No, but the passport is supposed to be an acceptable proof of natural born citizenship?”, I answered.
“Well, the passport office issued defective passports during the time that you got yours and it can’t be ‘read’ by our machine. So you can’t get a renewal today. But I can get you an extension on your old licenses expiration and give you a new appointment at the end of the month and you bring a new passport or your valid birth certificate with you”.

Joy. Another two hours travel and waiting, and twelve bucks in gas.

What bothers me about the Passport thing is that the physical passport is pristine, unmarred and has a document number and watermarks and has my birthdate printed on it clearly.  But that’s not acceptable?  The hidden electronics inside trump the visible and readable attestments upon it’s pages.   But they would accept my (now) 73 year old (Birth Certificate) faded, folded and yellowing piece of paper that has printed on it…  the same information.   I know, stop making sense.

At least it was the AAA, the state RMV offices are staffed with the most degenerate and despicable creatures on the face of the Earth.

Justice for All.

The former president’s duet with the J6 Prison Choir called “Justice for All” features Trump reciting the Pledge of Allegiance while his group of background singers — made up of people jailed for their involvement in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot — sing the “Star-Spangled Banner.”

The President  recorded his part of the track a few weeks ago at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, according to reports.

The inmates recorded their portion of the hit — the national anthem — about a month ago at the Washington, DC, jail.

Rise of the Fourth Reich

I read Rise of the Fourth Reich: Confronting COVID Fascism With A New Nuremberg Trial So This Never Happens Again by Steve Deace and Daniel Horowitz. Deace was one of the earliest to warn against the COVID jabs, and his book, Faucian Bargain, explained why he was against them and made his case against Dr. Fauci. Now after the craziness of mandatory jabs and mask wearing, an economic shutdown, school closures, and increased governmental control over our lives, Deace and Horowitz are calling for a new Nuremberg trial patterned after the Nuremberg medical trials which held Nazi doctors and nurses responsible for their actions.

Without people being held responsible for their lies and deceptions, which led to great hard and deaths for too many of our citizens, they will do this to us again and again. They are already talking about and planning for another once-in-a-century pandemic to hit us in the next few years.

More Lithium Ion batteries around every year.

Luckily e-bikes and e-scooters are still somewhat rare.

A five-alarm fire erupted in the Bronx Sunday morning after an e-bike inside a grocery store caught fire. Firefighters spent hours extinguishing flames on East 180th and Grand Concourse. Seven people were injured — five firefighters, one EMS worker, and one civilian.

FDNY Commissioner Laura Kavanagh says that there have been more than 400 fires caused by lithium-ion batteries in New York City over the last four years and just this year alone, there have been more than two dozen fires, resulting in two deaths.

“It is a crisis,” said New York City Council member Keith Powers. “It’s a full-blown crisis.”

Although fire crews responded to the fire in less than four minutes—the ion lithium battery shot out searing flames so quickly, igniting the old, aged lumber, it had already spread out of their control.

“It’s really something that we have never seen before,” said John J. Hodgens, Chief of Department.

In response to the rash of fires sparked by lithium-ion batteries, the city council is now stepping in, hoping to curtail the problem.

When they replace ALL the gas powered motorbikes and motorcycles, and all the small gas engines are replaced with battery power, then it’ll be interesting.

Lithium batteries are the wrong technology for their EV revolution.
