A man walks into a bar and orders a Bin Laden
Bartender asks, what’s a Bin Laden?
Man says 2 shots with a splash of water.

The launching access is on the Marshfield side of the North River, just right for car top craft. Located about 60 yards upstream of the Bridge.
Coming from Norwell on Bridge Street, you cross over the North River into Marshfield (home of Daniel Webster) and ten yards on the right is the entrance to the parking area for the river access. A steep dirt road goes down to a shady parking area. There is one picnic bench and a (usually) overflowing trash can.
” If you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you’re not a racist,
you’ll have to vote for someone else in 2012 to prove you’re not an idiot. “
A tad windy but still a good day to get out on the river. When the tide is low the Driftway is a good spot to go in. Firm sand and gravel all the way down to the water and enough depth to the Herring River (tributary of the North River) to launch a car-top craft at any time.

The location of the Scituate Town Launching Ramp (James Landing) Driftway Park is on 250 Driftway Road in Scituate, MA. The parking lot is shared with the Conservation Park. The entrance is just past (coming from Rte 3A Rotary) the Widows Walk Golf Course.
By kayak, The Spit is twenty to thirty minutes from launch. The Spit in Scituate is a sand bar that at low tide uncovers a broad expense of clean sand.
In the summer, it’s the most densely packed marina on the coast.
Now, in the Summer!! The Driftway launching ramp and The Spit.
The category Low Tide I would use for those moments or stories that contribute to the general feeling of disappointment or ennui with life in the U.S of A.
Such as that story recently about the last typewritten factory closing down or poisonous algae in the Pembroke lakes.
The High Tide rebuttal would be the report that the last typewriter factory in the world is in New Jersery and still going strong, The High Tide Quote of the day is;”In 1899 someone invented the electric vacuum cleaner — and everyone still has a broom in their closet,” he said.
That’s sort the idea behind that.
Dan K. Thomasson has the best advice that B.O. is going to get today.

The challenge will be to write something here every day, next to write something good. If I can’t think of anything to write about I’ll probably post a photo.
