Here are 10 more reasons to vote against Gov. Maura Healey, and the Republicans don’t have to spend a dime to deliver this message to the electorate.
They’re on most utility bills in the state, delivered every single month to the voters, itemized on each customer’s bill.
Think of this list as an in-kind contribution to non-incumbents from the big utility companies like Eversource and National Grid. They detail the mandatory contributions everyone must make to the Democrats’ climate cult:
Customer Charge
Distribution Charge
Transition Charge
Transmission Charge
Net Meter Recovery Surcharge
Revenue Decoupling Charge
Distributed Solar Charge
Renewable Energy Charge
Energy Efficiency Charge
Electric Vehicle Program
Those 10 Demandments are all listed on a recent Eversource bill in a Boston suburb. Together, the charges added up to more than actual cost of the electricity.
These bills from the big companies are divided into supply and delivery charges. The supply costs are outrageous enough, just about the highest in the nation – thanks to Maura, who as AG halted two new natural-gas pipelines and then bragged about to her comrades in 2022.
But the “delivery” charges are even more scandalous. They’re a racket, a skim to keep all the woke green Democrats safe and secure in their phony-baloney jobs, fighting global warming, er global cooling, er climate change, er extreme weather.
It’s a giant rip off, and Maura Healey is the capo di tutti greenies. And don’t you dare say anything, because taxes must be raised — to save the planet!
How significant is Massachusetts in the overall scheme of global pollution, you ask?
Well, the United States is 4-5 percent of the world’s population, and Massachusetts represents about 3 percent of that 4-5 percent.
Can somebody say miniscule? And then consider Mayor Michelle Wu’s insanity in Boston, where in addition to the endless bike-lane madness, she’s trying to discourage Americans from driving their filthy internal-combustion vehicles into the city.
Boston’s population is 10 percent of that 3 percent of that 4-5 percent. Not even a drop in the bucket, in other words. And while the Democrats desperately want to stop Americans from driving to work, they gleefully hand out drivers’ licenses to 300,000 illegal aliens, the vast majority of whom don’t work.
Make it make sense.
And those Ten Demandments listed above are just some of the categories on one homeowner’s bill.
If you go to the state’s own website, there’s a whole section devoted to “Understanding your electric bill.”
The hacks break down the “delivery” charges even more, including some that the utility companies “do not list…as individual line items on the bill.”
Here are 10 more of those so-called factors, as listed on mass.gov:
Advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) factor, attorney general consultant expense factor, basic service adjustment factor, capitol cost adjustment factor, grid modernization factor, pension/post-retirement benefits other than pensions (PBOP) adjustment factor, residential assistance adjustment factor, revenue decoupling charge, storm fund replenishment factor and exogenous storm fund factor and vegetation management factor.
That’s a lot of factors, and they’re factoring into why so many people who work for a living can’t wait to book it the hell out of this state.
Just to consider a few of the factors, does the attorney general consultant expense factor give her more money to sue Donald Trump with, because that’s all the AG ever seems to do?
And that “residential assistance adjustment factor” – do you suppose much of that is just more handouts for the hordes of freeloading illegal aliens previously flopping in the Healey hotels?
Mostly, though, these charges are about providing more billions for the hacks’ do-nothing jobs. All the carbon consultants going to ritzy conferences on environmental justice and sustainability, and of course they travel in their own new state-provided SUV’s because they’re much too important to take a bus like they want to force the rest of us onto….
Most of this is legal six-figure welfare for Democrats, like DEI. But with all these billions being robbed from working people every month, it’s obvious that rampant stealing – illegal graft — is out of control as well.
Check out the photos above, of two former Stoneham cops, the Ponzo brothers. They’re currently in federal custody, doing 27 months for stealing $43 million from Mass Saves.
Mass Saves is one of these flim-flamming state “public-private partnerships” in which millions in public funds ends up in private pockets, in this case the Ponzo heisters’.
The Ponzos stole millions for years. They bought Florida condos, ski lodges, even a private plane. And nobody in state government suspected anything until the G-men started looking into a tiny side grift that one of them was working.
In their sentencing memo, the feds described what they discovered when they investigated the small-time Ponzo racket: “Their bank account looked like it had hit the Mass Save lottery.”
That $43 million the Ponzos absconded with came out of the “Energy Efficiency Charge” on your utility bill. Makes you wonder how much is being stolen out of the other “delivery” charges and factors on your monthly bills.
Some Republican candidate should make a social-media ad about these insane bills.
The candidate could hold a postcard up to the camera and say, “Your electric bill should be the size of this postcard, not as big as an old phone book.”
Meanwhile, the Ponzo brothers will be released from prison in September. That means they’ll be back in Massachusetts in plenty of time to vote the straight Democrat ticket in November.
The Ponzos have 40 million good reasons to vote for Maura et al., and all of them have George Washington’s picture on them.
Professional courtesy.
