Low Tide?

Low point of the day.

The category Low Tide I would use for those moments or stories that contribute to the general feeling of disappointment or ennui with life in the U.S of A.

Such as that story recently about the last typewritten factory closing down or poisonous algae in the Pembroke lakes.

The High Tide rebuttal would be the report that the last typewriter factory in the world is in New Jersery and still going strong,   The High Tide Quote of the day is;”In 1899 someone invented the electric vacuum cleaner — and everyone still has a broom in their closet,” he said.

That’s sort the idea behind that.
