The Police Department needs THIS? for traffic control.

The Memory of Beslan, the Shame of Boston

So congratulations, Boston. In a state with some of the “toughest” gun laws in the country  – and by “toughest” I mean unconstitutionally restrictive — a legislature completely conrolled by Democrats and a congressional delegation that includes a grand total of zero Republicans, it was somehow not surprising that the Chechens chose one of the few places in the United States where a) the people could not and would not fight back and b) the media would find them sympathetic. Heck, even the UN agrees with me… sort of.

I’ve long said that the relationship between the American Left and Islam is that of masochist and sadist; the perfect Suicide Cult means the Death Cult of its dreams. No wonder they got along so well together, right up to the moment when they didn’t.

Since I read this on another blog I pondered the question asked;

“It seems hard to escape the conclusion that many of these questions might never be answered. Local authorities in Boston have now had a taste of the expediency of extraordinary police powers which obviously run up to and include the power to paralyze an entire city to hunt down one man. It seems difficult to conclude that they will easily relinquish them.”

Of course, all the extra-police power assumed under the exigent circumstances was of no avail, it was a member of the public who basically found the suspect, after the curfew was lifted.

Trial begins for officials accused in Obama ballot fraud: Update, Guilty!

The trial is underway for a former Democratic official and a Board of Elections worker who are accused of being part of a plot that has raised questions over whether President Obama’s campaign — when he was a candidate in 2008 — submitted enough legitimate signatures to have legally qualified for the presidential primary ballot.

It is to laugh! What began in fraud and illegality continues to degenerate into a shoddy pseudo Imperial facade of indulgence and overweening ambition.

What a cheap pimp!

Update:

Officials found guilty in Obama, Clinton ballot petition fraud

A jury in South Bend, Indiana has found that fraud put President Obama and Hillary Clinton on the presidential primary ballot in Indiana in the 2008 election. Two Democratic political operatives were convicted Thursday night in the illegal scheme after only three hours of deliberations in South Bend. They were found guilty on all counts.

The case raise questions about whether in 2008, then candidate Obama actually submitted enough legitimate signatures to have legally qualified for the primary ballot.

“I think this helped uphold the integrity of the electoral system,” the prosecutor, Stan Levco (Democrat) told reporters.

“Their verdict of guilt is not a verdict against Democrats, but for honest and fair elections,” he said.    …“I think had they been challenged successfully, he probably would not have been on the ballot,” Levco told Fox News.

Of course this isn’t a verdict against Democrats (said the Democrat, about the defendants, all of whom are Democrats and who only worked to place Democratic candidates on the ballot, illegally!) That’s quite obvious!

The Media in Boston this week, just pathetic.

Pathetic

pa·thet·ic

/pəˈTHetik/
Adjective
  1. Arousing pity, esp. through vulnerability or sadness.
  2. Miserably inadequate.

That would be number two I think.

From American Digest: Shameful.

238 years ago today, citizens near Boston took on the most powerful military in the world and won. Today, they cower from one man.

The 71st and Final Reunion of the Doolittle Raiders.

Doolittle Raiders fans flock to meet their heroes

Doolittle Raider Staff Sgt. David Thatcher, left, shakes hands with Alexis Edwards, 5, and her mother Michelle Edwards and father Brian Edwards, back, during an autograph session at the Air Force Armament Museum.

At an emotional meeting last fall, the four surviving Raiders decided this reunion would be their last public gathering. The events have drawn crowds for decades.

Cole said he hadn’t given much thought to what it meant for this year’s reunion to be the final one.

“At this stage in the game I’m pretty much taking it a day at a time,” he joked.

Tom Casey, the Raiders’ manager, said it’s hard for them to say what it is like to have their last reunion.

“It probably won’t hit them until after we leave Eglin, but if it had to be done, this is where over 71 years ago it began, and it’s a perfect place to end it.”

Richard Jewell died for our sins.

Richard Jewell Cannot Accept Our Apology

Obviously that weirdo Jewell had planted the bomb so he could take credit for discovering it. Or so it seemed, for some reason, to the FBI, which leaked Jewell as the primary suspect, and CNN, and NBC, and the New York Post, and the Atlanta Journal Constitution, which took the leak, a perfect story after all, and used it to make Jewell’s life Hell on Earth.

Eric Robert Rudolph was the real Atlanta Olympic Bomber, he is in prison today.

Jewell died 11 years after the bombing, exonerated and a little richer thanks to several settlements against media outlets like CNN, but still a broken man. In its obituary, the New York Times, which had also reported on the allegations against Jewell, eulogized him as the hero of the Atlanta attack.

So take a lesson from this reminder, and turn off the god-damn TV.
