UPDATE: News source has removed Muslim from story.

I received a comment that said these three men are not Muslim. Checking on the source I found that the word Muslim was removed from the story, no explanation. So, never mind.

I’m not printing the comment, dude was not civil. Nevertheless, I thank him for the heads up.

Three Muslim men arrested in Phoenix’s largest EBT fraud scheme in history

Kameel Sweiss, 51, and sons Ameer Sweis, 22, and Faday Sweis, 33, were arrested Wednesday on suspicion of illegally conducting an enterprise, fraudulent schemes and artifices, money laundering, unlawful use of food stamps and computer tampering, according to Stephanie Grisham, a spokeswoman for the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. 

Grisham said the investigation yielded the largest seizure related to food-stamp fraud in Arizona history. Sweiss owns K & S convenience store on 27th Avenue near Bethany Home Road, where the alleged scheme took place. His sons also work there. 

Grisham said the men overcharged food-stamp cards, and in some instances gave cash back to the cardholder in exchange for whatever value remained on the card. “People were essentially selling their cards to (the) store,” Grisham said.

Editor’s note – as is typical in the mainstream media, the word “Muslim” or “foreigner,” is not used in the entire report. What should be the headline of the story is not even mentioned. One has to guess from context.

I saw this story and I wondered, “Why are there pictures of the suspects, but no names?”.  So I went looking, and looking, and finally found the reason why there was no information or names or any other particulars about these POS.

They are Muslim.  Now what do we have to do to get the rest of the information about these scumbags?  How long have they been in the country?  What bullshit Democrat provision of the immigration laws did these losers get into the country on? How much other money have we pissed away on their housing, food, education or healthcare?

UNPAID TAXES??? TOLL FEES???

It is not surprising that the first police raids to take legally-purchased firearms from citizens are in California. Until recently, the state had the strictest gun control laws and the liberal run state government has always looked unfavorably on the Second Amendment.

Earlier this year, the state legislature expanded the list of what they call “prohibited persons” – people who have legally registered a firearm but, for various reasons, are no longer allowed their Second Amendment rights. These reasons were expanded to include people who are behind on state taxes, did not pay toll fees in a “timely” manner and a wide range of other minor misdemeanors or reported mental health concerns.

In preparation for the crackdown, the state authorized $24 million to hire additional officers to track down 20,000 people on the list. One person on this list was Joe Mendez.

A police officer came to the door and lured Mendez out of his house with a story of a hit and run report. Once outside, he had M16s pointed within inches of his face, was taken into custody and had all weapons removed from his house.

It is important to remember that these were legally- purchased and registered firearms. That gets to the other issue about this initiative.

This case demonstrates what registration lists really are. They are tools to allow police to confiscate weapons. And, all they have to do in California is come up with a reason you should be on the prohibited persons list; a list that is continuously expanding in its scope and definition.

California gun owners beware: your firearms and rights are being confiscated by your liberal politicians.

An MBTA passenger is facing disorderly conduct charges after police say he dropped a chocolate milk container under a bus in Brigham Circle — forcing its evacuation and prompting an investigation for a suspicious package.

Officials didn’t release the man’s name but said he will also face a charge of interfering with public transportation and is set for arraignment this afternoon.

T spokesman Joe Pesaturo said the Route 66 driver told investigators the passenger exited about 9:30 a.m. and dropped the item under the bus. Pesaturo did not say why the item was considered suspicious.

The male passenger was taken into custody at the scene, Pesaturo said.

Boston, Massachusetts…the bluest city of the blue states. With the grossly overpaid police and fire, constant corruption, sky high taxes. All due to a extreme case of political correctness and complete Democratic control of all branches of government.

Sorry, I don’t find the above story funny (most of the comments on the story expressed amusement) because I know the likely costs to the taxpayer are likely to be expensive; police overtime, they probably rolled two or three cop cars and a fire truck. If a “suspicious device” was reported then the bomb squad rolled the big bombproof truck and probably shut down traffic on the SE expressway to take that milk carton to Nut Island to “safely” blow it up.
