Trump to ‘surge’ federal agents to Chicago, other cities, amid spike in violent crime

President Trump is deploying 100 federal agents to Chicago to help combat rising rates of some crimes – a move that marks an expansion of the White House’s intervention into local law enforcement as Trump continues to position himself as the “law and order” president.

The “surge” of agents announced on Wednesday to Chicago and other American cities is part of Operation Legend – named after 4-year-old LeGend Taliferro, who was fatally shot while sleeping in a Kansas City apartment late last month – and comes as federal law enforcement officers have already descended on Portland, Ore. and Kansas City, Mo.

I want to show this to all the Assholes in my town with BLM signs on their lawns.

Zero National News Networks, Including Fox News, Are Covering Photo of BLM Supporters Kneeling on White Baby’s Neck

The grandmother of the two year old boy in the viral photograph of Black Lives Matter supporters kneeling on his neck tells the Gateway Pundit that zero national news outlets have reached out to the family.

In the photo, a man named Isaiah Jackson is seen kneeling on the neck of his girlfriend’s two year old son as another person holds down the diaper-clad baby’s feet. The photo was captioned with “Blm now mf.”

50000mw 520nm Burning High Power Green Laser pointer kits GT - 990

SKU: G32000029

Power: 50000mW Lasers

Color: Green Laser Pointers

Wavelength: 532nm Lasers

Material: Stainless Steel

Battery: 16340 Battery

Class: Class 4 / Class IV Lasers

Price $200.

I’m stunned that the prices have fallen so much and the power levels for a portable device are so high!

Federal officers in Portland may have been permanently blinded by lasers, officials say

Reports are that the Domestic Terrorists in Portland and Seattle are using Hi-Power Lasers and have damaged the eyesight of Federal agents.   Lets spell it out, that would be an armed assault on Federal Agents with a weapon that has been banned by International Law for use on any human being.
Agents that are being attacked with that weapon can (and should) return fire to protect themselves with their service weapons.
Lasers at this power level can inflict burns, and they can destroy eyesight.
Federal Agents are being issued Laser protective googles,  civilians in the crowd will have no such protection.
Isn’t it time to take the gloves off with these insurrectionists?  Isn’t anyone going to start treating this as what it is?  A full-blown insurrection intending to overthrow the Government of the United States of America.

…There is another darker side of the legacy of John Lewis. Selma and the surrounding region never really ceased to be a place where people live and work after 1965. It just ceased to matter in anything but the symbolic sense to the elite media. After John Lewis left town, the cameras left, the marching stopped and civil rights legislation was signed into law, the people who lived in Selma and the Alabama Black Belt had to go on living under the new order. Black majority rule came to “Historic Selma.” History moved on and in the 55 years that have elapsed since “Bloody Sunday” the practical result has been that Selma has become the poorest city in Alabama and the ninth poorest city in the entire United States

New Century… New Crime of the Century.

Bloody Harvest—How Everyone Ignored the Crime of the Century

In June of this year the China Tribunal delivered its Final Judgement and Summary Report.

An independent committee composed of lawyers, human rights experts, and a transplant surgeon, the Tribunal was established to investigate forced organ harvesting on the Chinese mainland. These rumours have haunted the country for years—lurid tales of the fate suffered by members of the banned Falun Gong religion after being taken into police custody. Their organs, so the rumours go, are cut from their bodies while they are still alive, and then transplanted into waiting patients.

The Tribunal examined these claims, extending the group of victims to include Uyghur Muslims (among others), and its findings were unambiguous. “On the basis of all direct and indirect evidence, the Tribunal concludes with certainty that forced organ harvesting has happened in multiple places in the PRC [People’s Republic of China] and on multiple occasions for a period of at least twenty years and continues to this day.”

2Further to this, “the PRC and its leaders actively incited the persecution, the imprisonment, murder, torture, and the humiliation of Falun Gong practitioners with the sole purpose of eliminating the practice of, and belief in, the value of Falun Gong.”

The Tribunal was also able to conclude, “with certainty,” that the Communist Party has been responsible for acts of torture inflicted on Uyghurs.

These acts were found to constitute crimes against humanity.

From the Comments section…N95 masks.

Anonymous One and Two, here are some thoughts from people who are exactly in their area of expertise regarding the efficacy of N95 filtration on viruses:

“The science of mask functionality gets really small, really fast. The unit of measurement here is microns — 1/1000th of a millimeter.

The size-based argument against N95 laid out in this claim assumes mask filtering works something like water flowing through a net — particles in the water smaller than the net opening pass through, while larger items don’t.

But the physics involved don’t work like that at all.

The COVID-19 particle is indeed around 0.1 microns in size, but it is always bonded to something larger.

“There is never a naked virus floating in the air or released by people,” said Linsey Marr, a professor of civil and environmental engineering at Virginia Tech who specializes in airborne transmission of viruses.

The virus attaches to water droplets or aerosols (i.e. really small droplets) that are generated by breathing, talking, coughing, etc. These consist of water, mucus protein and other biological material and are all larger than 1 micron.

“Breathing and talking generate particles around 1 micron in size, which will be collected by N95 respirator filters with very high efficiency,” said Lisa Brosseau, a retired professor of environmental and occupational health sciences who spent her career researching respiratory protection.

Health care precautions for COVID-19 are built around stopping the droplets, since “there’s not a lot of evidence for aerosol spread of COVID-19,” said Patrick Remington, a former CDC epidemiologist and director of the Preventive Medicine Residency Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The N95 filter is indeed physically around the 0.3 micron size. But that doesn’t mean it can only stop particles larger than that. It works well for particles above that size, and actually snares particles below that size better than those at exactly the 0.3 level.

“N95 have the worst filtration efficiency for particles around 0.3,” Marr said. “If you’re smaller than that those are actually collected even better. It’s counterintuitive because masks do not work like sieving out larger particles. It’s not like pasta in a colander and small ones don’t get through.”

N95 masks actually have that name because they are 95% efficient at stopping particles in their least efficient particle size range — in this case those around 0.3 microns.

Why do they work better for smaller ones? There are a number of factors at play, but here are two main ones noted by experts:

The first is something called “Brownian motion,” the name given to a physical phenomenon in which particles smaller than 0.3 microns move in an erratic, zig-zagging kind of motion. This motion greatly increases the chance they will be snared by the mask fibers.

The second is the N95 mask itself uses electrostatic absorption, meaning particles are drawn to the fiber and trapped, instead of just passing through.

“Although these particles are smaller than the pores, they can be pulled over by the charged fibers and get stuck,” said Professor Jiaxing Huang, a materials scientist at Northwestern University working to develop a new type of medical face mask. “When the charges are dissipated during usage or storage, the capability of stopping virus-sized particles diminishes. This is the main reason of not recommending the reuse of N95 masks.”

I don’t know about you fellers, but I am going to wear a mask, an N95 or N99 if I can get them. It may be a false comfort. I may look silly wearing one. People might call me a sheep. That’s fine. I’d rather look like a fool for whistling while going past the graveyard that be the one getting whistled at. –Uchuck

  • Whoops, missed part of the reply from Anonymous #2: My brother #2 specified the 9105 because it did give better fit options than other N95 masks he had tried out. The geometry of the elastic bands give a tighter cheek seal and the nose bridge has a bendable strip that allows the user to “crimp” it into a seal around the arch of the nose.

Anyhow, as I noted in the original post, it is up to each person as to what they will and will not accept as the straight skinny in these uncertain times. Take it for what it is worth and make your own decisions. I’m not crusading for mandatory masking, and I’m certainly not going to have an hysterical meltdown at the sight of an unmasked face.
