WSJ — Veterans don’t want their kids to enlist…

Besides the economy, the social Darwinism, the resentment of the veterans in their family;  whats the other nagging fear?

The stories every decade reporting on the deficiencies of the Veterans Administration healthcare can’t help.  Stories that go to the heart of many veterans families who have experienced it firsthand.

The lowering of the formerly high standards for entrance into the military and retention.  Many vets look back in pride and with a feeling of achievement at getting through boot camp and the (formerly) tough service schools needed to earn the badges that they proudly worn on their chest.

Then there is the openly recruiting and accepting homosexuals and the mentally ill Trans into the services.  Into the same barracks as the normals.

From the comments at CFP on the latest Tucker Carlson podcast on  Admiral “Rachael” Levine…

My Dad was a flag officer until he retired in ’75: USMA ’41, and WW-II and RVN Vet. He pinned on Butter-bar 2LT rank on all three of his sons and was quite proud. And he was also proud to witness and participate in his sole grandson’s commissioning as a USMA graduate (USMA ’99) – an institution he loved and where he and Mom are buried.

Two of his three sons served for 22+ years in the Army, the other for about six years. His grandson also served for 22+ years in the Army too with at least two “tours” in Afg and Iraq each, with a Purple Heart for his Iraq “tour” after Dad passed. Dad would have been appalled at what “his Army” became – particularly his Alma Mater. Like me and my brother and his son (my Army-retired-nephew), we could not honestly recommend a career in the Army at its present state.

A pretty sad state of affairs for a family with three generations of career service in support of this nation (not counting my Mother’s father’s service in WW-I).

Neither my Nephew, nor I nor my Brother would recommend entering the Army to our collective nephew/brother at this point, and that is a pretty sad state, even though he would have a clear path to acceptance to USMA..

It will takes years to rectify this.

“Years” to rectify,  longer if the same people are in charge.  Right there is the heart of Americas citizen soldiers and it’s no longer interested in joining the Armed Services.

But what else?  What else that the article didn’t mention or hint at?  But I believe is in the minds of every local American family with young men and women of military age.   It’s that if they join the US Military at this time, that the day is coming when they will be deployed for War here in our own country, against their own families and neighbors.

Not to the border to stop illegal immigration, but to threaten any group of citizens that attempts to do so. Not to defend the centers of voting and tabulation in the next national election, but to shield the vote stealers and cheats from the people.

There’ll be no more peaceful, unarmed protests against this corrupt government and the rubber-stamping of fraud.  Any protests that go to Washington will go fully armed, or they won’t go at all.  What young man or woman wants to sent under arms to face their own father or grandfather.

So no.  They are not joining.  Next step I expect is the return of the draft, not a draft to defend the nation but a Tsarist style conscription to imprison the sons and daughters of the Regimes opponents.  Fuel the new wars they want to start, and starve any revolt of their strength.  Crazy?  Ten years ago, definitely.  Two years ago?   Next year??

Yes, you are right. I left that out, as did the article. Without the stolen election it would be a different world right now.
And since no one’s gone to prison for election tampering or vote fraud for 2020, there’s no reason to expect that 2024 will be any different.

That being the case, sooner or later they will repeal the 2nd Amendment or ignore it. And then they might want to come for the guns in the hands of anyone who opposes them. And they need a compliant military for that.
