Boo-Hoo-Hoo. New York City’s AQI hit +/- 300 ppm, and the world is coming to an end. One opinion writer yesterday was saying she wanted the U.S. to invade Canada over this.
Meanwhile, while the Mosquito Fire was burning east of Sacramento last year the AQI at my home north of the fire had at least 4 days of AQI over 450, with one day of 600+. Funny I never heard the brainiacs back east mention anything about disbanding the dysfunctional U.S. Forest Service, who ‘owned’ 90% of the property burned.
BTW, the fire started directly below a PG&E transmission line. Parts of the pole were seized as evidence, although as of today no claim of blame has been made.
