“The energy needed to refute BS is of an order of magnitude greater than the effort needed to produce the BS in the first place. ”
Brandolini’s law
Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded -- here and there, now and then -- are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as "bad luck." -- Robert A. Heinlein

This exactly? No.
But pieces of this, from different sources, from time to time; yeah. You may be thinking of the piece on Tesla batteries. It’s a hobbyhorse of mine.
Some bad news I just read today, Joe Biden, to address the gas price crisis (that he caused BTW) is going to ‘permit’ refiners to go to 15% Ethanol immediately. I won’t put that shit in my car. Mileage will drop and you will end up paying the same to travel a set distance, with the chance of increased damage to your car.
I need a drink. Of alcohol.

Yeah, well Brandon needs to save the gas for the World War III that he and his cronies are determined to start…and I’m afraid they are going to succeed. I agree with you about the ethanol; amazing that people still think that’s a good option. Maybe for the farmers selling the corn.
Leaving for Fla in a few weeks. Good luck up here.
