Birthday week.

OK, I’ll try not to whine.

In my state they closed all the restaurants, except for take-out, two days before my girlfriends birthday, three days before mine.

After a embarrassingly low game last week at my bowling league, I practiced daily to get my average up from 64 to 86, with a high game of 97 (at great expense); league games are now cancelled indefinitely. (97 is a good score in candlepin)

We cancelled a flight booked on JetBlue; because we purchased ‘trip insurance’ we get ten percent back in cash, sixty percent in “Travel Bank” credit and lose the rest. If we hadn’t bought trip insurance, under the state of emergency, we would have gotten 100% back.

And I just renewed my gym membership, which is now closed.

I turn 70 on Thursday. As a friend from high school emailed me; “You were 20 in the Seventies; and 70 in the Twenties”,  Happy Birthday.

“Happy Birthday”… yetch!

Same thing happened to me–birthday wise. Traded up on the girlfriend, though, so I have that going for me…😉

  3. As I commented earlier, some of the posts in Drafts somehow got published; if they were in the draft folder it was because they were unfinished or I decided not to publish them.
Best to erase anything in Drafts as I am doing to anything left, some of the posts are there because I thought better of publishing them.
