Mark Twain on Statistics

He said…

“There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics.

And statistics are just percentages.

“Elizabeth Warren DNA test; strong evidence proves she has Indian heritage”.

Right. “Strong evidence.” Except that the test actually shows she’s 1/1,000th non-Caucasian. One of her distant ancestors was possibly from a “Canadian or Mexican indigenous population.”

In other words: Elizabeth Warren is 99.9 percent white lady.

That’s the truth, think that is going to matter?

It doesn’t matter.

I live in Massachusetts (God help me) and all the local stations were all over this “Important Breaking News!”.   Warren is a squaw…period.

If at break of day tomorrow all this is put into proper (and ridiculous) perspective it won’t matter. Every brain-dead Democrat in the state will KNOW without a doubt that Lizzie is a noble redskin because they saw it on the TV.

All Democrats have learned to write the first breathless news report that proves any of their heroes are wonderful into ROM (That’s write once, read many times memory; that can’t be rewritten.).

Hopefully the syndrome is limited to Massachusetts and isn’t viable anywhere else in the country… but I doubt it.
