I promise less Ebola posts after the Mid-Term

I can promise that because after the mid-terms there will be less need as the administrations need to stonewall on the measures needed and already being taken by a handful of state’s governors.  Also, unfortunately, it will become obvious that we are all now on the front lines of the Ebola war.   Some interesting and disturbing headlines…

Mystery: VA Facility Prepares To Take Ebola Patients

A Veterans Affairs hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico is conducting an “emergency installation” of air filters for Ebola patients, raising questions about what the government plans for the facility.

BioShield: Obama Diverted Funds From Its Fight Against Ebola, Other Threats

From its creation in 2004 until President Bush’s departure from office in January 2009, Project BioShield’s authority was the basis for research and development of several Ebola treatments.

A review of HHS annual reports turns up multiple grants awarded to companies specifically to research Ebola.

From 2004 to 2006, under BioShield authorities, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases awarded more than $1.8 million in grants to Apath LLC and Oncovir Inc. to develop antiviral drugs for Ebola infection and advance early treatment of the virus, respectively.

Asked about these two projects, HHS spokeswoman Elleen Kane told The Daily Signal that funding may have been discontinued, since subsequent reports did not mention them. Kane directed inquiries to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, which did not respond.

Evidence Shows Obama’s Open Border Policies Fueled Deadly EV-D68 Epidemic – 9 Deaths, 1,105 Cases So Far

Enterovirus EV-D68 cases have been reported in all 50 states except for Iowa, Maryland, Delaware and Oklahoma. (CDC)

The deadly enterovirus D68 was first identified in cities with large numbers of relocated illegal immigrant children.
The Daily Caller reported:

The deadly EV-D68 enterovirus epidemic, which struck thousands of kids this fall, was likely propelled through America by President Barack Obama’s decision to allow tens of thousands of Central Americans across the Texas border, according to a growing body of genetic and statistical evidence.

The evidence includes admissions from top health officials that the epidemic included multiple strains of the virus, and that it appeared simultaneously in multiple independent locations.

The question can be settled if federal researchers study the genetic fingerprint of the EV-D68 viruses that first hit kids in Colorado, Missouri and Illinois to see if they are close relatives to the EV-D68 viruses found in Central America.

It’s interesting.  I tried to follow the link to the website, “Daily Caller” and every link to that site comes up with a blank page.  The day before the Mid-Term election???   Coincidence?

You’ll be more flexible then? It’s a wonder we’ve still got the luxury of black humor. Another day, another level of depravity, but wait…there’s two more desperate years, for the man who has nothing to lose, and only gambles with house money.

  2. I wish so many of the contests around the country weren’t so close. I’m afraid that GOP and Independents are within the margin of fraud and doomed to see the prize stolen. I wonder if they are going to let Melowese Richardson vote this year, and how many times.

I voted early, and have not started to watch the news. I hope it’s not close here, Sam Nunn’s “charming” bluestocking daughter, another neo-fascist aligned with the regime, hopefully having the dour grin wiped from her face. I read Scott Brown, (he of the va-voom! daughters) is doing well in NH. No idea if carpetbagger Fauxcahontas is being challenged? and I hear the name Charlie Baker now and then. I’ll start watching the results when the wife goes topside, and have the man-room to myself. Here’s hopin’
