No, I believe that they do not. The headlines on Fox News that GOP party leadership wants to raise funds to “Destroy the Tea Party Groups“, true or a donkey’s ploy? WSJ story on Ted Cruz taking the Congressional elevator and no one will talk to him, not even his own party. Petty or Party?
I consider myself a supporter of the Tea Party, as I have related my long (broken-legged) trek to the first Boston Tea Party Rally. Reform of the Republican’s and the replacement of the RHINO’s is what is needed and a third party an anathema as a weak third party can only hand future elections to the Democrats (the hopeless, the treasonous, the larcenous).
BUT, if the GOP has decided to attack the reformers and any true conservatives then sadly we may need to replace reform with replacement. As the early Tea Party rallies had to rebuff the efforts of certain two-faced Congressmen who thought that they had a right to be on the podium especially those with a (R). They got hooted down, we thought they would realize that the world was changing and start learning. It appears not.
If it must be War waged against both the Democrat and the Republican parties by the fed up American middle-class, conservatives and taxpayers then that’s preferable to “Business as Usual”. But it’s not the way I hoped things would go… Things have to change.
