Hingham Harbor, again.

Afternoon in August, with nothing to do but enjoy the water with a long paddle…

Left from Hingham Beach.

Crossing the harbor I observed bait fish being fed on by (I think) Shad. The group of predators circle the school of bait fish constantly, the top fins and tails of the hunters sometimes showing on the surface.

The pictures I got show the roiling waters of the action, but I didn’t catch any clear images of the fins, tails or bodies. Since it is a underwater camera I got within three feet and dipped it under and tried a shot. Hows your imagination?

Round the point of World’s End Park, south down the Weir River towards Planters Hill and the rock cliffs where (as almost exactly one year ago) I’ve photographed kids diving off the rocks.

Every show draws an audience. . .

Very little wind, good day for paddleboards I guess.

End of the line near North Cohasset.
