Too late, American journalists realize their mistake.

… a Faustian thing happened. This year it was also revealed that the Obama administration had monitored the communications of Associated Press reporters on the suspicion that they were publishing leaks. For the first time, outrage arose: Liberal presidents were not, in Nixonian fashion, supposed to go after liberal reporters…

The crime instead was that AP was freelancing and might publish leaks that were not always flattering. Since long ago the media had made a pact, it was natural that the Obama administration assumed it had a right to monitor what it had bought.

In one version of the tale, Dr. Faustus at least got 24 years of freebies before being hauled off to Hell. Our poor media did not even get five years of adulation before Obama called in their souls.

The US ranks 3rd in murders in the world…BUT, if you didn’t count Chicago, Detroit, Washington, DC and New Orleans then the US would be 4th from the bottom of the global list.

– All of these cities have strict gun control measures in place.

Maybe the ‘problem’ isn’t guns? The problem might be the numbers.

Baltimore: 29 murders this past 30 days. 26 black; 118 murders ytd. 110 black; 217 killings in 2012. 203 black.

– And it’s much worse in Chicago.

It’s time we established “Number Free Zones” for the common good and public safety.

– Drawing upon the vast expertise already resident at BLS, the FED, and Wall Street it should be relatively ‘easy’ to accomplish. And we have the MSM who has pioneered “Fact Free Zones” to provide the script for public consumption. Problem solved.

[Excerpt] As we approach July 4, 2013, is America in a pre-revolutionary state? Are we headed for a Tahrir Square of our own with the attendant mammoth social turmoil, possibly even violence.

Could it happen here?

We are two-thirds of the way into the most incompetent presidency in our history. People everywhere are fed up. Even many of the so-called liberals who propelled Barack Obama into office have stopped defending him in the face of an unprecedented number of scandals coming at us one after the other like hideous monsters…

In fact, everywhere we look on this July Fourth sees a great civilization in decline. And much of that decline can be laid at the foot of the incumbent. Especially his own people, African Americans, have suffered.  Their unemployment numbers are catastrophic, their real needs ignored while hustlers like Sharpton, Jackson, and, sadly, even the president fan the flames of non-existent racism.

Ballantine Books announced Friday it would not release “Paula Deen’s New Testament: 250 Favorite Recipes, All Lightened Up,” which was scheduled for October and was the first of a five-book deal announced early last year. Interest in it had surged as Deen, who grew up in Albany, Ga., and specializes in Southern comfort food, came under increasing attack for acknowledging she had used the N-word.

Ballantine, an imprint of Random House Inc., said it had decided to cancel the book’s publication after “careful consideration.” It had no comment beyond what was in its brief statement, spokesman Stuart Applebaum said.

The “N” word, or as Lenny Bruce would say, “NIGGER”.  In fact as Denzel Washington, Samuel Jackson, Chris Rock, etc. etc. do say (sorry I couldn’t come up with the names of any Rap or Hiphop “artists” since I know every other word out of their mouths is nigger).

This whole sack of shit is beyond over-board, it’s overkill and please allow me to be part of the splash back. God-damn Liberal Thought Control!

Understatement of the decade: The 2012 Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration report that the maddening information below comes from is entitled “Substantial Changes Are Needed to the Individual Taxpayer Identification Number Program to Detect Fraudulent Applications.” Gee, ya don’t say:

(CNSNews.com) – The Internal Revenue Service sent 23,994 tax refunds worth a combined $46,378,040 to “unauthorized” alien workers who all used the same address in Atlanta, Ga., in 2011, according to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA).

That was not the only Atlanta address theoretically occupied by thousands of “unauthorized” alien workers receiving millions in federal tax refunds in 2011. In fact, according to a TIGTA audit report published last year, four of the top ten addresses to which the IRS sent thousands of tax refunds to “unauthorized” aliens were in Atlanta.

The IRS sent 11,284 refunds worth a combined $2,164,976 to unauthorized alien workers at a second Atlanta address; 3,608 worth $2,691,448 to a third; and 2,386 worth $1,232,943 to a fourth.

There’s a lot more to the story here if your stomach can take it. Taxpayers are being fleeced. Or maybe those were addresses where IRS workers went to pick up their annual bonus checks.

Atlanta must have some of the most exhausted and uninquisitive postal delivery people in the country, unless these were direct deposits.

Perhaps the most remarkable act of the IRS was this: It assigned 6,411 ITINs (Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers) to unauthorized aliens presumably using a single address in Morganton, North Carolina. According to the 2010 Census, there were only 16,681 people in Morganton. So, for the IRS to have been correct in issuing 6,411 ITINS to unauthorized aliens at a single address Morganton it would have meant that 38 percent of the town’s total population were unauthorized alien workers using a single address.

Also, the IRS sent 8,393 checks to a single bank account (via GWP from Treasury.gov):

Meanwhile, if you made a single deposit of over $10,000 in cash into your bank account, you would most likely have some Feds knocking on your door (if they were in a polite mood).

This IG report was published almost a year ago. Why isn’t this big news? Why aren’t we seeing any perp walks? Why are we surprised there aren’t mass firings over excessive Tea Party scrutiny when there is apparently fraud by the tens of millions going on with no consequence whatsoever?

Obama has thus been forced back into the very vacuum he created — but at a distinct disadvantage. We are now scrambling to put together some kind of presence in Jordan as a defensive counterweight to the Iran-Hezbollah-Russia bloc.

The tragedy is that we once had a counterweight and Obama threw it away. Obama still thinks the total evacuation of Iraq is a foreign policy triumph. In fact, his inability — unwillingness? — to negotiate a Status of Forces Agreement that would have left behind a small but powerful residual force in Iraq is precisely what compels him today to re-create in Jordan a pale facsimile of that regional presence.

Iraqi airspace, for example, was under U.S. control as we prepared to advise and rebuild Iraq’s nonexistent air force.

With our evacuation, however, Iraqi airspace today effectively belongs to Iran — over which it is flying weapons, troops and advisers to turn the tide in Syria. The U.S. air bases, the vast military equipment, the intelligence sources available in Iraq were all abandoned. Gratis. Now we’re trying to hold the line in Jordan.

Obama is learning very late that, for a superpower, inaction is a form of action. You can abdicate, but you really can’t hide. History will find you. It has now found Obama.

As I commented on another blog, compare Barry Shortpants and Vladimer Putin.

Putin is playing a terrible hand very well (for the short term at least), low Russian birthrate, corruption crippled economy and several hostile nations on his borders. In spite of that he is supplanting the United States in the Mid-East (with Barry’s help of course).

The community organizer is the laughingstock of the world, as the “Travels of Snowden” tour winds around the world as he shows each of Americas competitors all the goodies he stole from the NSA, while Obama continues to cut the US down to match his contemptuous vision of us.

Politics is downstream of culture. Recent examples of the toxic sludge freely flowing into that stream include Snooki’s announcement that she hopes her son grows up to suffer from a psychosexual dysfunction closely associated with other serious mental and physical health problems such as suicide and AIDS:

Snooki and her “Jersey Shore” co-star Jenni “JWoww” Farley were two of many attendees at the TrevorLIVE event Monday night promoting The Trevor Project’s anti-bullying and suicide prevention campaign.

“Me and Jenni weren’t exactly the best role models, but now that I’m a mom,” the 25-year-old, who has a 10-month-old son with her fiance Jionni LaValle and considers herself bisexual, said at the Chelsea Piers event in New York. “I’m so grateful for The Trevor Project to support the LGBT youth so they have someone there for them because I’m praying I have a gay little boy one day.”

I wonder what god she’s praying to.

Speaking of reproduction and the cesspool that passes for mainstream culture, WE tv is introducing a new reality show entitled “Pregnant & Dating.”

If a generation that grew up on “Happy Days” and the “Love Boat” could produce the aggressively degenerate government we have now, imagine what “Jersey Shore” and “Pregnant & Dating” will spawn.
