Is that enough time to get a sufficiently serious pandemic going in the United States that will give the Regime an excuse to postpone or cancel the Mid-Term elections?

Otherwise I can’t think of a single reason to explain the lack of a single serious or timely response to the Ebola threat to this country.

• While even most European countries have taken action about direct flights from infected African nations the Regime and it’s political appointee heading the CDC have not.  With the thin excuse that “It would interfere with aid flights to Africa”.   I’m guessing most Americans would not care about endangering the entire country  for that reason.
• Sending US Military medics and soldiers to the “HOT ZONE” is not the right response. Why is the Military’s premier military unit, The 101st Airborne, being sent to West Africa?  Isn’t the need for security and crowd control, not soldiers?  (I’m thinking hire locals, or Mercs)  Unless the reason is exactly that, put them at risk and return infected soldiers to the US and quarantine our top Army bases.
• Dr. Gil Mobley (no fan of the current political appointee at the CDC) makes some good basic points about the potentially disastrous actions of the Dallas hospitals and that will likely be repeated at other American hospitals if they continue to listen to the CDC.  Too whit; don’t do your Ebola screening at the hospital or medical center.  In Africa that resulted in unacceptable losses in the ranks of your trained medical staff.  Set up OUTSIDE the parameter and bring suspect people there.  Unless someone wants to decimate  the American healthcare system.

Seriously, if our worst enemy were calling the shots they couldn’t make worse decisions.  Maybe they are.
