Wiki: In radio and television, broadcast delay refers to the practice of intentionally delaying broadcast of live material. A short delay is often used to prevent profanity, bloopers, violence, or other undesirable material from making it to air, including more mundane problems such as technical malfunctions or coughing. In this instance, it is often referred to as a seven-second delay or profanity delay

Think about that tonight while the networks broadcast the New Years countdown from Times Square.  Maybe that’s why recent years have been losers, we are late out of the gate every time.

Happy 7 Seconds  +60 seconds After Midnight!!!

Update 2025: I noticed that the networks are even further out of sync.  Partly it is the delay in transmission and replication to the streaming services.

WASHINGTON – Today, Committee on House Administration’s Subcommittee on Oversight Chairman Barry Loudermilk (GA-11) released an interim report on his findings on the events surrounding January 6, 2021, as well as his investigation into the politicization of the January 6th Select Committee. This report outlines criminal recommendations against former Representative Liz Cheney. 
TOP FINDINGS:

1. Former Representative Liz Cheney colluded with “star witness” Cassidy Hutchinson without Hutchinson’s attorney’s knowledge.
2. Former Representative Liz Cheney should be investigated for potential criminal witness tampering based on the new information about her communication.

The decision to stick to Blue Bloods‘ cancellation was announced among a swath of updates on CBS’ content slate on Thursday, May 2. CBS President Amy Reisenbach said in a press conference that while CBS will miss Blue Bloods, “All shows have to come to an end,” per Deadline.

She noted the pleas from the show’s stars to let them continue and said, “We love this cast, we love their passion for the show. All shows have to come to an end. It’s important to us to refresh the schedule. We are going to end the show come December.”

Why is it ‘important’ to refresh the schedule? Frankly my opinion is that the family centered show was like sunlight to the liberal vampires.

National Police Association ‘Strongly Endorses’ Kash Patel for FBI Director

The National Police Association on Friday “strongly” endorsed Kash Patel, President-elect Trump’s nominee for FBI director, and urged the Senate to confirm him.
“We firmly believe that Kash Patel’s appointment as FBI Director will mark a pivotal moment for law enforcement and public safety across the United States. His leadership will bring a renewed focus on collaboration, ethical standards, and the relentless pursuit of justice,” the organization said in a statement.
