I’m a bit skeptical that he was tearing back any curtains as opposed to showing off to his pals on his chatroom. Either way, the whole spectacle is stunning and I won’t be holding my breath waiting for any political accountability.

“The Five” discussed this. One said that he had his doubts about the “21 yo Private” having access to Top Secret and above documents and sneaking them out so easily. In fact several doubted that the ‘secrets’ were real and true at all. Is it our misinformation, is it Russian misinformation …(wait we did that already?). Churchills famous quote, “The truth must be surrounded by a bodyguard of lies” may be relevant here.
Personally I have no trouble believing that the Biden administration is as bad at keeping secrets as they are at everything else that they have tried to do. Maybe promoting based on political reliability and correct pronouns doesn’t result in the best or most competent people being selected for important jobs.
That said, this hurts the Biden Administration. Here and elsewhere. So I think some part of this is true. What part and how much, I’ll probably never know.
