And then came the reports. Clackamas County Sheriff’s officials reported that people had seen antifa protester types reportedly stashing gas cans, looting, and looking ridiculously out of place. They were taking pictures and giving locals grief for trying to keep them out of closed neighborhoods. Locals wondered if there was a connection between the fires and the sightings of these folks.

Oregon officials are vehemently denying the suggestion that Antifa ‘types’ are involved in setting some of the wildfires, despite photos floating around the Web of individuals at the scenes of the fires dressed in the garb favored by the anarchists.

And numerous people have been arrested for arson in the Northwest.

No new posts for the last two days since we were on vacation, not a good idea to announce in advance that you’re away from home.  Cape Cod in September is my favorite time to visit.
