When the Mueller Gang Met Judge Ellis
Paul Manafort. Tony Podesta. Tad Devine. Greg Craig.
Manafort worked for Trump. Tony Podesta is the brother of Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager. Tad Devine was Bernie Sanders’ chief strategist. Greg Craig was Obama’s White House Counsel.
All four men also, directly or indirectly, allegedly did work for the European Centre for a Modern Ukraine. And the ECFMU was allegedly a front for Yanukovich’s Ukrainian pro-Russian faction. …
But only Manafort had the predawn raid, the solitary confinement and the high profile show trial.
Just the fact that the only person of interest now on trail is the only Republican is interesting; the Democrats all walked.
Previous Judges that allowed this circus to advance were all Obama appointees or Clinton donors.
Judge Ellis has shut down Muellers efforts to highlight the defendants spending; clothing, nice house, toys like a karaoke machine. Without any evidence of illegal means to acquire the money for that spending, it’s nothing more than an appeal to class differences.
The friendly relationship that the gang enjoyed with its fellow Democrat collaborators on the bench has been replaced by an impatient judge who isn’t treating the show trial like a vital institution, but with the skeptical impatience that veterans of the system reserve for the table pounders wasting their time.
It’s amazing to me that President Trump has still managed to get so very many thing done, promises fulfilled and goals reached and then exceeded with the barrage of attacks on every side. The mans focus and concentration are amazing.
