First, I’m not stupid. I thought this was a bogus offer from the first; the price was too low, the seller was too new, the 100% rating was suspect.
First I should mention that I risked no money only Amazon ‘points’ accrued from a credit card. Second that the 100% positive position rating for the vendor couldn’t be verified since Amazon removed the ability to look at the user accounts of those users ‘rating’ this company. (on that, the first three ‘ratings’ for Dempsey Books were all 5 star, which gave them an initial “Excellent” rating) Amazon has also removed any connection or link to Amazon to get them involved in a deal or purchase gone bad.
So, ordered April 12th. First “Shipped” date, April 14th. However the first “EMS” tracking number was bogus.
Second tracking number comes up as “private, cannot be tracked”, that is a new one on me.
Still Amazon will not get involved, the only action they will give you is for YOU to cancel the order yourself. Then you see, it’s not them, it’s you!
When the latest date of the ‘shipment’ came, then the ‘Now Expected’ date is pushed back another week. How long will Amazon allow this farrago of deception and fraud to go on?
Well, as long as this charade goes on I am not buying anything from Amazon, points or cash. If I didn’t need an active Amazon account to continue to have access to perviously purchased digital movies, books and music; I would cancel Amazon at last.
