Mr. Trump has nominated a highly qualified successor to the late Justice Scalia. Most Democrats agree. The Democratic leadership has vowed to oppose, delay, bring the nation to a halt; show that America cannot be governed by Republicans, or anyone but liberals. Demonstrations will continue. Meanwhile, Democrats boycotted the hearings on other Trump appointees.
Did you really think that the election was the end of it? And it’s not just Democrats. When the Democrats are so willing to put their arrogance and parochial focus on their radical agenda forward with such determination and loud noise from the left, then the timidity and compliance of some (so-called) Republican Senators is an inadequate response in what will be a close fight. And then there are out-right traitors such as John McCain.
