Scientists create a lithium-ion battery with super speed charging and longer life

The ultra-fast batteries can charge 70 percent in only two minutes and don’t need to be replaced every few years. The batteries will work for more than 20 years, a timeframe that’s nearly 10 times longer than the typical lithium-ion battery.

I’m a techie and a retired Telcom Engineer, I’m not opposed to ELV’s because I’m an Luddite.   The reason I’m uninterested in the ELV’s on the market today is that they wouldn’t be there except for massive State and Federal subsidies and political preferences to help corrupt unions.

Manufacture a Electric Automobile that can stand on it’s own in the marketplace and I’ll applaud it.

But it sucks that this new tech is Made in China.
