As I’ve mentioned it is a quirk of the avian species that when I’m trying to photograph them on the river (where they are faster than I) any closer than 100 yards and they are off. Often, on land, (where I am faster than them) you can get quite close…
Timestamp 1:29PM at 12 seconds. Elapsed Time 50 Seconds, faster than I could change the zoom factor.
At this point I had to stop taking pictures, after briefly looking up me, Goosie came around to my left and tried to get his/her beak into my pocket. Yah think someone (who looks like me) has been feeding my friend here?
We danced around a bit and finally the message was received that I wasn’t going to feed anybody today. But he didn’t leave just went about his business without so much as another glance.
I hope nobody or nothing harms him, I wish he wasn’t so trusting of people.
