You’re embarrassed to talk about it. You’ve wondered about it for years. Alas, you’re among the millions who want to know, “How do you pronounce Disqus?”
I’ll tell you, I pronounce it “NOT INTERESTED“.
Even the local Dead Tree Newspaper switched to Disqus for online comments. Then I stopped commenting on their online page.
I’ve tried Disqus, which makes it very easy for Internet Trolls to follow you around and piss in your ear. If you are an conservative.
On the North River 
I changed to Disqus because my WP system required everyone to fill in three lines everyvtime they commented. I received a lot of “thank yous” for making the change. I have had some trolls but no real trouble. I banned a couple early on, and the others haven’t been worth bothering with.

The current WP system I use (which should work for you) is once a commenters address is validated for the first comment afterwards nothing more is needed.
Hopefully that is how it is still working.
