Gillette launches make-out campaign to promote shaving
Gillette is asking America to weigh in on whether stubble is the culprit for a decline in kissing with the launch of a nationwide Kiss & Tell live experiment.
Kiss & Tell will travel to 15 U.S. cities to find out if women prefer to kiss stubble or smooth-shaven men. The experiment, which asks real-life couples to make-out in-person — with and without stubble — to determine which facial hair style women find more kissable, kicks off today with simultaneous events in both New York City and Los Angeles.
Nikki Reed: Kiss & Tell in Times Square
Helping couples the world over with their makeout mastery, Nikki Reed showed up in Times Square, NYC for the Gillette Kiss & Tell Event today (January 16).
Nikki tweeted, “I’m helping @Gillette find out what women really want in a kiss. To see if the #kissandtell tour is coming to u, visitwww.kissandtellus.com #spon.”
According to a press release, “Research shows that people are kissing less than ever and that 66% of women have avoided kissing a guy because he had facial hair. With Valentine’s Day on the horizon and signs showing that the kiss may be on the decline, Gillette is asking couples across America to help determine if stubble could be the trouble.”
I know what the PC crowd will do with this and I would guess the tour will be skipping a stop in San Francisco…

Who’s got stubble, we got stubble.
Full beard actually, Quite a long way past the stubble phase. In my younger days I dispensed with the mustache, and the beard was red. Today its more of a two tone look, red on top, short white brush hanging from the face. My late wife was always ready to pucker up. God Bless Her.
