You do know that Ted Kennedy conspired with the Soviets in 1984 to oust Ronald Reagan from the White House, right?
You didn’t know that? Well, don’t feel so bad. That news has always been given a good leaving alone by the alt-left media now promoting this nonsense about “Russian hacking.”
These are the same hysterical purveyors of fake news who refused to print the WikiLeaks emails, yet now they say they’re what got Donald Trump elected.
You know who’s pushing this BS — all the trust-funded types who still have “Bush Lied People Died” bumper stickers on their Priuses because the CIA “cooked” the intelligence on WMDs in Iraq. Now they want us to believe the CIA is absolutely infallible again — because Obama has ordered his hacks from Brennan on down to make up stories about “hacking.”
As for Ted Kennedy’s near-treason, he was responsible for so many horrors. But scheming with the blood-stained KGB to defeat Reagan has to be right up there near the top.
We know this happened because in 1991 a British reporter going through the just-released Kremlin archives found a 1983 memo from the top guy at the KGB to Yuri Andropov, the dictator of what was then the Soviet Union.
On Kennedy’s orders, old buddy John Tunney briefed the Kremlin murderers on what Teddy was offering them in order to defeat Reagan — “Kennedy and his friends will bring about suitable steps to have representatives of the television companies in the USA” agree to interview the dictator.
“The senator underlined the importance that this initiative should be seen as coming from the American side.”
In other words, despite the fact that this would be “rigged,” to coin a phrase, it needed to look legit. This early “fake news” needed to look legit, you know, like the “Russian hacking” story, or the Jill Stein recounts, which are now over.
Why did Kennedy want to surreptitiously scheme with the bloodiest, most repressive regime in history to defeat a democratically elected president?
“Tunney remarked,” the KGB memo said, “that the senator wants to run for president in 1988.”
Which networks would have helped their Democrat hero and his Commie fellow travelers spread anti-American agitprop? Better question is, which ones wouldn’t have?
First it was Comey, then it was the hacking (which Jill Stein said was done with “floppy discs”) now it’s these hacks, so-called.
A year after Kennedy tried — and failed — to rig the 1984 elections, ABC News was planning to run a documentary about the role his brothers played in the death of Marilyn Monroe.
Suddenly, the documentary was cancelled. Ask Geraldo Rivera sometime what happened. One day he was working on it at ABC, the next day he was out on the street.
This whole “hacking” story is the most fraudulent outbreak of fake news yet. Since when do these alt-reality so-called journalists have a problem with Russia? Why do you think they’ve always refused to report what Kennedy did back in 1984?
And why would the Russians even want to get rid of Hillary? They know what the Clintons are, and how cheaply they can be bought. They paid Bill a million bucks for two speeches in Moscow after Hillary signed off on giving them 20 percent of the U.S. uranium supply. Talk about getting an orchard for an apple.
So now the New York Times hates Russia. Does this mean it will finally be giving back the Pulitzer Prize its reporter Walter Duranty got back in the 1930s for his fake news about what a great peace-loving guy Joe Stalin was?
