To me the question is, “Who is more likely to be indulging in vote stuffing to effect the ratings of a Pro-Life/Anti-abortion movie?”.
First question, who is more likely to be interested in buying a ticket to see this movie? Obviously someone from the pro-life side. They would not have a bias against the ethical viewpoint of the story. So they would be looking at the ratings to determine if it is a well done piece of work with good ‘word of mouth’. There are no big name actors or directors attached to it, so they would want to know if it’s worth the $10-$15 price of admission.
That’s what we thought the “User Ratings” element of IMDB was for. But apparently not. I’m willing to go out on a fairly solid limb here and say flat out that most of the 820 One Star votes are from ideological fanatics opposed to the Pro-Life movement and HAVE NEVER SEEN THE MOVIE! Change my mind.
The first words out of the mouth of every defender of Planned Parenthood both in the movie and in the real world are “A womens right to chose”, their civil rights or womens reproductive ‘health’. What I think scares the people behind Planned Parenthood is that this movie makes it very, very clear that the real goal of PP is abortion. Because abortion is their business plan, abortion is where the money is. As the chief PP protagonist of Abby Johnson spits at her in an incandescent exchange, “Abortion is our fries and soda”.
I gave it a Ten Star rating, go see it.
