George Bush, the failed legacy.

Iraq is an Iranian client state.

We shed blood, we poured out our treasure for years. We beat down their existing order, smashed it flat in fact, and rebuild it painfully and slowly. We rebuilt, we ran elections (cleaner elections than we have at home), rebuilt their armed forces.
At the very least we should have enjoyed the benefits of a client state smack dab in the middle of the Middle East.

But because the GOP couldn’t bring themselves to actually run an election like they wanted to win it and the minor task of establishing American bases and interests fell to an Iranian Deep Cover agent; everything was thrown away. All the lives, all the pain, all the treasure.

We should have left Saddam Hussein in power. Everyone would be better off.

Sickening.

Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch compared herself to the diplomats and contractors killed in Benghazi in her opening statement in the second public impeachment inquiry on Friday.

“We make a difference everyday,” she said in a defense of herself and diplomats serving around the world. She continued:

We are people who repeatedly uproot our lives, who risk and sometimes give our lives for this country. We are the 52 Americans, who, 40 years ago this month, began 444 days of deprivation, torture, and captivity in Tehran. We are the dozens of Americans stationed at our embassies in Cuba, and consulates in China whom mysteriously and dangerously, and perhaps in some cases, perhaps even permanently, were injured and attacked from unknown sources several years ago.

And we are Ambassador Chris Stevens, Shawn Patrick Smith, Ty Woods, and Glen Doherty, people rightly called heroes for their ultimate sacrifice to this nation’s foreign policy interests in Libya eight years ago.

Her comparison of herself to those who were killed in the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack prompted derision and disgust by some observers.

“Ambassador Yovanovitch’s invoking of those killed in Benghazi — in a bid to protect herself — during this impeachment inquiry is utterly sickening,” Benjamin Weingarten, a senior contributor to The Federalist tweeted…

Seriously?  She is invoking the names of the men her boss Barry left to die and thinks her Congressional testimony experience is on par with their sacrifice?  The men that for 13 hours; were trapped in a burning building, got shot, blown up and the same President that appointed her as Ambassador send NO HELP.

I hope they didn’t forget to put ice into her glass of water, otherwise she might suffer PTSD.

Apparently Twitter believes this is a ‘fake’ meme spread by sinister forces.

Twitter is supposed to be all hip (can you still say ‘hip’?) and woke and on top of the Social Media mountain and it says that this phrase being repeated across Twitter and the rest of the Web is just being spread by ‘bots’ not humans.

Funny, I identified it as a intelligent and appealing meme the first time I saw it.   I’m afraid that Twitter is becoming all cranky and outdated (I’m not really —that afraid…).   This is the new “Epstein didn’t kill himself”.   By the by, Epstein didn’t kill himself.

We love you Alex!

‘Jeopardy!’s Alex Trebek gets emotional after contestant’s message

On Monday’s episode, “Jeopardy!” contestant Dhruv Gaur wrote “What is we love you Alex!” in place of his answer, betting $1,995 on the question, which he lost.

The word “love” was replaced with a heart symbol.

“That’s very kind of you, thank you,” Trebek said before taking a brief pause to find his words. “Costs you $1,995.”

Public Enemy #1… to Dems.

Kanye West encourages black Americans not to vote for Democrats: ‘That’s not the power’

Kanye West encouraged black voters in the United States not to vote for Democrats at an event in New York City.

According to Page Six, West advised black voters: “Own your power. Your power is not to just vote Democrat for the rest of our lives. That’s not the power.”

The Democrats survival depends on keeping a better than 90% block of African American voters.  Donald Trump is polling at a third of the Black voters, BEFORE the Kanye West announcement.
