Hungary’s Viktor Orban Strikes Gender Studies as an Academic Discipline

In an effort to restore curricular and administrative sanity to university education, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and his Fidesz Party have passed legislation to abolish Gender Studies as an area of official study.

Hungary’s Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjen has stated that such programs have no business in universities as they representœan ideology, not a science with a market profile œclose to zero.

Similarly, Orban’s Chief of staff Gergely Gulyas said,”The Hungarian government is of the clear view that people are born either men or women. They lead their lives the way they think best [and] the Hungarian state does not wish to spend public funds on education in this area.”

But the fact is that masterminds like Soleimani do not grow on trees. If you think of him as the Steve Jobs of state-sponsored terror, then it seems plausible to likely that he will be followed by a less creative type — the Tim Cook of terror, say.

Happy Margaret Thatcher Day!

Every January 10th, Falkland Islanders celebrate Margaret Thatcher Day to celebrate the victorious British defense of the sovereignty and self-determination of the South Atlantic islands from an attempted Argentinian invasion in 1982.

Back then, the British Prime Minister was being urged to negotiate with Argentina via the United Nations. She refused.

Much like President Trump, Prime Minister Thatcher refused to accept the “managed decline” theory pushed by many in her own government, and much of the bureaucratic and media classes.

Instead, she fought, and the history of the Falklands War is now well documented. She was proved right.

Iran CLEARS debris from plane crash site with bulldozers before investigators even arrive after condemning ‘big US lie’ they shot the jet down and insisting Tehran will ‘handle’ black box data 

The debris of the Boeing 737 (left) has been removed from the crash site near Tehran before Ukrainian investigators have even arrived, sparking fears of a cover-up.

Tehran says it is ‘opening’ the flight recorders today but has indicated it will not allow the US to analyse their contents.

Washington and its allies believe the plane was shot down by an Iranian missile (right), most likely by mistake, hours after Iran launched missile strikes on US bases in Iraq. Iran, which claims the crash which killed 176 was caused by a technical failure, has accused the West of ‘psychological warfare’ over its allegations, with government spokesman Ali Rabiei (inset) calling the allegations a ‘big lie’.

Well, bulldozers are definitely ‘faster’ than the FAA procedure that favors hand and knees and tweezers.

Indian man convicted in call-center fraud case scamming Americans out of millions

According to admissions he made as part of his plea deal, Patel operated a complex scheme with help from co-conspirators in the U.S. and India. From call centers in Ahmedabad, India, Patel’s employees would impersonate officials from the IRS and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to defraud victims across the U.S.

Said victims were threatened with arrest, imprisonment, fines or deportation if they did not pay alleged monies owed to the government, the DOJ said.

Patel admitted to operating and funding several India-based call centers from which these elaborate schemes were perpetrated.

According to a co-defendant, Patel was arrested in India in 2016 but paid a bribe and was released. He was arrested in Singapore in September 2018 at the request of the U.S. He was then extradited to the U.S. to face charges in the money laundering scheme.

My career at the time I was laid-off (and retired) was setting up, running and maintaining Call Centers.  My job was shipped off to India.   This kind of shit didn’t happen on my watch.

A National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) chapter called a local newspaper unethical after it reported that a candidate for political office had a criminal record for climbing in a window, beating a man with a Bible, and choking him with a bike chain.

The Flint Journal found that of the ten Democrats vying for state representative, three had criminal records, with one arrested in July 2019. It ran stories about those three cases Jan. 2.

The Flint NABJ president, Ebony Stith, issued a statement Jan. 3 saying the three criminals were all black and journalists have an ethical duty to “do no harm.” The articles should have talked about their “achievements,” she said.
