Organized religion disgusts our elites, and the unrelenting attacks on it have only intensified as the totalitarian masks come off and we see what they really think of those Americans who take God and religion seriously, rather than as a campaign talking point or a throwaway line in a speech about Baseball, hotdogs, apple pie and the church on the corner.
I am not a particularly religious man, but I am becoming increasingly disgusted with the shrieking harpies on the Left who find repulsive the idea that normal Americans want to worship as they see fit…together in churches or at weddings or funerals.
Ignoring my suspicion that the draconian measures enacted will not do anything, how a group at a church is any different than those in supermarkets or standing in line buying lottery tickets is beyond me. Except that those who gather to worship tend to be outside of the deep blue cities, so they are the enemy.
Let’s not pretend it is anything other than naked and aggressive use of the coercive power of the state to punish the elite’s enemies. They know that their heroes fell in 1989 with help from the Catholic Church and the titan at its head. They are afraid of the power of American churches, and they will stop at nothing to constrain that power.
So every pastor and congregant who is fined for an illegal gathering and then returns the next Sunday for another service is a soldier in the fight against the most base totalitarian leanings of the Left…and I salute them

The image of her standing in front of high-end deep freezer chock full of $8.00 a pint gelato just radiates utter/udder contempt for the American people.

I ordered a UV LED light box for disinfecting small object (such as masks and keys). I paid an additional $30 for expedited shipping, the original arrival date was …. today! (Is it here? No.)
I went on to say the device is coming from China and that the shipping information I was sent was bogus and FedEx says nothing has been shipped. The ‘Positive User Reviews’ were all from profiles with exactly four reviews each, and (Surprise!) they love everything they have bought to pieces! I gave them my opinion that Amazon is contributing to the COV19 fraudulent medical scams being pulled off by China.
And so, they are not publishing my review. It also explains why there are only four reviews, all five star and all bogus, they are suppressing the negative ones. Can’t go warning the marks, now can we?
As it is I’m out the $30 expedited shipping fee, which may be the easiest thirty bucks those Chinks ever made.
Seriously; advertise a product that is related to the mania connected to Cov19 and sterilization, offer two shipping estimates; slow boat or three day delivery for $30 extra. Collect the $30 and don’t ship. If the mark customer cancels you made $30 without doing a thing. If they don’t bother to cancel another sixty. All you had to do was advertise a non-existent product on your partner in crimes website, and split the profit with your partner in crime, Amazon.com .
Update: In the past when Amazon refused to allow a review that might warn others about a problem with a product, I could insert the information into a comment attached to an existing review. I tried that here and every comment was scrubbed almost immediately.
At $20 a pop this is going to add up. Not to mention going into the bush when it was pulled out and tossed .
I should start a pool on the closest guess to the number of times I’m going to need to replace that sign before November.
Preliminary results are out from a COVID-19 case cluster study in one of the regions worst hit by Germany’s coronavirus epidemic. They are somewhat reassuring.
One often-heard statistic is the “case fatality rate”—that is, the percentage of people diagnosed with a disease who will die of it. This afternoon that figure stands at 3.5 percent for COVID-19 in the U.S., but this rate is significantly inflated because it does not count asymptomatic cases or undiagnosed people who recover at home. What we really need to know is the infection fatality rate: the percentage of all the people infected who eventually die of the disease. That’s what the German study attempts to do.
Over the last two weeks, German virologists tested nearly 80 percent of the population of Gangelt for antibodies that indicate whether they’d been infected by the coronavirus. Around 15 percent had been infected, allowing them to calculate a COVID-19 infection fatality rate of about 0.37 percent. The researchers also concluded that people who recover from the infection are immune to reinfection, at least for a while.
This is not the final word and it is long pass the time that a similar study be done in the USA. But it’s hopeful. I think that it’s more likely that President Trump will order the economy restarted by May 1st. And when he does the Media, the Democrats will scream and go berserk; how dare he take away our best chance of graft and the fun of telling the people what to do!
