Nolte: ‘Snow White’ Bombs — Breaks Record for Lowest Live-Action Remake Opening
With its dreadful $43 million opening, Snow White now holds the record for the lowest debut weekend of any of Disney’s live-action remakes.
Before promotion, this disaster cost $270 million. At this point, it’s doubtful it will gross $270 million worldwide, and when you remove the 50 percent theater cut, the Disney Grooming Syndicate is looking at a brutal, brutal loss.
I’m just glad this is finally out and will quickly disappear, never to be seen or heard from again. Like “Cats (2019)”.

A $270 million dollar flop! When I saw the star talking about the movie, I knew it was a failure.

They have been talking about it forever, fore…ever…
Thank God it can now sink into obscurity.

Why aren’t the non MAGA people going to see the movie????

Well, Disney did cut their losses on this turd by cutting way back on marketing.
And frankly, the posters with Snow Brown on them aren’t very appealing.

My two cents: I saw an interview with another filmmaker that said the $270 million is just the start; likely another 50% for distribution and marketing will be added to that number. Ah, well.
Next: I’d take Gal Gadot any day of the week over that little whiner.

One point in defense of the little whiner, the movie was going to be terrible no matter who was in it.
The changes they made to the story and the really bad job of CGI would have sunk this turkey no matter who was in it. “Snow White (2025)” really wasn’t a ‘live action’ remake of the original cartoon movie. It was a totally different hatchet job, “Snow Woke” in fact.
The whiney entitled bitch just brought attention to the steaming pile before it came out and probably saved a lot of parents from making the mistake of bringing their little rug rats to what they assumed was another Disney children’s movie.
For that we should thank her.

Mmmm…yeah; no. I can’t imagine thanking her, but I can definitely feel a Nelson ‘ha-hah’ as fitting.
I also note that Disney is rebooting Malcolm in the Middle with most of the original cast members. I’m watching reruns on Fuse Network; the show was hilarious and hilariously incorrect. I can only imagine how Disney will ruin that…
