On New Years Eve, remember the “Seven Second Delay”.

Wiki: In radio and television, broadcast delay refers to the practice of intentionally delaying broadcast of live material. A short delay is often used to prevent profanitybloopersviolence, or other undesirable material from making it to air, including more mundane problems such as technical malfunctions or coughing. In this instance, it is often referred to as a seven-second delay or profanity delay

Think about that tonight while the networks broadcast the New Years countdown from Times Square.  Maybe that’s why recent years have been losers, we are late out of the gate every time.

Happy 7 Seconds After Midnight!!!
