When I was younger I rarely got sick. And those few times I got a common cold I usually got over it in a few days.
Well I’ve got a holiday cold now and it looks like it’s going the full 7-10 days that Wikipedia says in normal.
I hate being normal.

I’ve been taking 50 cm of zinc daily, also zinc based throat lozenges.
But I never had to go to those lengths before, colds were rare and gone in three days as I remember.
We know that the Vac damaged immune systems I wonder if Covid itself leaves a dampening effect on it as well.

My gal got the Kung flu last January, bad enough to be hospitalized. The SOBs tried to give her some Remdisivir and couldn’t understand why I went apeshit on them when they suggested it. She has had some difficulties afterwards, specifically with an elevated pulse that couldn’t be explained. We loaded her up with all sorts of multis, including some others like quercetin, zinc, K2 and lots of D3. Not to mention I picked up some of the dreaded ‘horse dewormer’, and now she’s probably back to 90-95%. Never said the China virus wasn’t legit; just not the Black Plague.
