The issue is not the type of firearm, it’s not the magazine capacity, it’s not even the fact that it’s a firearm, and it’s surely not what flavor of politics the killer claims or espouses. One party wants to lock up criminals in prison and commit the crazies to institutions where both they and the rest of society will be safe.   And the other party doesn’t. And if you are a member of that second party, go to Hell.
