    An acquaintance in Iowa is 4th generation managing the family farm. About 15 yrs ao he decided to turn every acre of his corn fields for ethanol production. It was simple economics, govt subsidies for every part of the operations put more P in the P/L balance sheet.

    Don’t forget politicians all get their cut for what are subsidy programs but money laundering schemes thereby defrauding the citizenry.
