I’m going with stolen.

A time capsule that was opened in New Hampshire recently was found to have nothing inside — sparking speculation about whether someone stole its contents, or whether anything was placed inside at all.

Here’s the tell…

“It took us several tries to get it open,” Potter said, noting the combination was on the back of the capsule.

I don’t know what this ‘Time Capsule’ tells us about the people of New Hampshire in 1969, but it would tell the people of NH in 1969 a lot about New Hampshire in 2019.
