FCC official warns Obama-backed net neutrality plan would bring ‘immediate’ Internet tax
“Consumers of these services would face an immediate increase in their Internet bills,” O’Reilly said Friday during the seminar held by the non-partisan Free State Foundation. “Let’s accept a truism: Consumers pay [the fund], not companies.”
O’Reilly, a Republican on the five-member commission, also quoted scholar and net neutrality guru Tim Wu in saying, “Ultimately, consumers always pay for everything, no matter what we say otherwise.”
Home Depot will soon have a bin at the front of the store where all Americans can pick out their chains; shiny steel, red enamel or maybe blue, and customers with proof that they are over 65 years of age can buy their chains in lightweight aluminum. Like ObamaCare, compliance is mandatory.
On a related topic, I got the results of my Ultrasound back from my doctor. Everything looks fine but I have a fatty liver (???) and he wants me to exercise and lose more weight. OK, but how do I exercise my liver?
I can always depend on my doctor to harp about my weight. His stock phrase, “If you lost weight you wouldn’t have that problem.” . 
One year he was telling me about the vacation he and his wife went on. They went to a seaside resort and tried sailing on a catamaran. They capsized as many newbies do and had to hold onto the hull until someone came out from shore to help them.
I asked him why he didn’t right the Cat by standing on the dagger-board and the side of the boat and leaning back until the Cat righted itself? He told me then that they tried it, but the boat didn’t come up. It was then that I got my revenge, I said “Doc, your problem was you didn’t weigh enough! If you put on some more weight you wouldn’t have that problem!“.
