Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded -- here and there, now and then -- are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as "bad luck." -- Robert A. I didn’t comment within the body of the post, I instead let the picture speak its thousand words of rebuke.
There was an anecdote about the Iraq War that a Marine Sgt lead his men in prayer,”Lord, we thank you for this war even though its not the best war or the war that we wanted, It’s still better than no war at all, Amen“. I’ll have to ask Doug if this time the Marines are praying to stay out of it.
Upon reflection, proving the adage that every cloud has a silver lining. If we do go into this without allies and both sides of the conflict are not only our enemies but whose combatants include those who (for forty years) have murdered, bombed and abducted our people, then its going to be hard to “waste” ordinance. The camps of the “rebels” are the same camps that a few years ago were the Terrorist Training Camps of our enemies.
God, would I like to be compiling the targeting list on this campaign!
