My question for President Obama and Professor Warren, “If we could take away the entire government of the United States would what remained still be America?    Yes, I believe most of us would do fine.

Or, if otherwise we eliminated the free enterprise system, capitalism, the unique ability of Americans to form associations among themselves without the need for “higher authority” or governments approval would that society last as long as the Soviet Union.  A system which it would most resemble.   I believe that such a society put in place here replacing what we have had would not last out the year.    Because unlike the USSR, we would have no America to escape to.
