If They Remake Dirty Dancing, Will They Take All The Jewish Parts Out?

I hate remakes. This post on a Boston Herald blog brings up a good point, if movies like Dirty Dancing are a time capsule of a time now gone will the remake have any interest in retaining that part of the original movie or we get a PC storyline of gays,illegal immigrants and global warming? The new director, Kenny Ortega, was the director of the worst movie musical ever made..Newies.  I hate remakes!!
