What better way to celebrate the day.

Patriots Day that is.

At the range.  9mm semi-auto handgun. 10 yards.

Half with Right hand.  The other half with Left.   The flyer was with the Left.

The Left hand shoots to the right.  The Right hand shoots to the left.

You must be rich to be able to waste so much ammo. Good shooting, though.

    • I bought a sighting scope/laser range-finder, and so found out that the maximum distance the target holders can be run out to at the WSC differ. And all fall short of the twenty-five yards I was expecting. The lane I’ve been using only goes out to 17 yards, I tried a different lane that will run out to 18. Next time I’m there, and they are unoccupied, I’ll check the rest. I’d like to use the 25 yard target at 25 yards.
The gun I was using at 10 yards was the Stroger, Turkish made. A little longer barrel and a little heavier.

ps You don’t want to know what I spend on candlepin bowling. Silly to spend money of guns that you can’t shoot accurately.

Shooting a handgun for guys like us is realistically limited to about 15 yards for any sort of dependable accuracy. I need to get to a range for similar reasons. Note that I’m not getting specific.

        • Yesterday I also had another target at the 18 yard mark. Additionally I intend, in the future, to practice at the 5 yard mark. Less than five and I’ll sharpen the point on the Epee I have on display.
